Who is your favorite manager?

Started from a discussion I had the other day regarding Nigel Adkins. I was really curious of what people think about him, if he was actually a good manager or Soton evolved because they have a real amazing club plan and they sticked with it.
So, basically, i am curious, what managers you like and why? There can be from England, they can be from Singapore, i don't care.
I will start: Roberto Martinez
I used to dislike Everton because of Gollum, but Martinez made me like the way they play, supported them in Europa league last year and so on. I think at some point, he can do a good job at City, if he would have the chance.

Nigel Clough because of his dad. I'm not keen on Martinez, he's always trying to be too nice which seems a bit false.

Pellers - I can't bring myself to give a different answer. Well at least until next year.

Ian holloway. Mad as a hatter and has some of the best interviews we're ever likely to see. Also joe kinnear was worth his weight in gold.

Yes I saw him. I remember he missed an away game once, and there was a strong rumour he was too fat to get on the coach. I did try to explain my choice was out of respect for his dad.

Jose and kevin Keegan for exact opposite reasons.
Jose is a fucking winner no matter what and I admire that.
Keegan couldn't take the heat but had this attack 1st mentality that I also loved.
Pellers is the nearest to combining the two I've seen.
I also don't hate big Sam like most but I think that's because I've convinced myself that parody Twitter is really him.

In my lifetime, Brian Clough. What he did with not one, but two, unfashionable provincial clubs, will never be equalled. He did it with a swagger and panache that is sadly lacking in a lot of managers today.
Ian Holloway is a great shout Slim
Pellers will always have a big place in my heart.
I despise the fucker, but Bacon has grudging respect.

He's got good reason to be fair. That said Id have him back if he could calm down just a little, not enough to extinguish his fire, just enough so not everybody he worked with hated him.

Correct. So many reasons why the England football team needed him...and the fa chose the only reason why they wouldnt. Becaus he'd tell them, the press and the players who werent up to the task to fuck off...to their face. The best managers have always been single minded bastards...they have to be
