A strange coincidence?

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

A strange coincidence?

Postby BoltFromTheBlue » Mon Jul 06, 2015 4:30 pm

Paul Pogba, Kevin De Bruyne and Gareth Bale, all in New York at the same time as Soriano is, pure coincidence or could we just be reading too much in to it? I'd personally like to think there's more to it, but who knows?
Tick tock tick tock.

It'd be dead funny if we signed Bale and the scousers end up having to sell Sterling on the cheap in January

You mean the old magic trick ? Look over here at our huge bid for sterling that we know doesn't match what you want, look closely while we bid below what you want again (as we quietly palm bale with the other hand)?

Nah never gonna happen

Stranger things have happened. All three is fancifull it must be said though. More likely Pogba and KDB are in the mix and Bale is the coincidence. What a press conference that would be though.

"Hello boys, couple of bits of news today. Here's Pogba KDB and Bale in City shirts. Any questions lads."

Now signing those three at once would definately put the cat amonst the pidgeons. Fingers crossed, come on Soriano, do what you're paid to do!!

Nah never gonna happen

I'd laugh my head off if we'd used Sterling to misdirect everyone while we went after Bale - I would metaphorically laugh my head off - and literally roll around on the floor laughing out loud just for good measure.

Would be even funnier if it was us who then bought him cheap in January.

A Juventus fan met Pogba in NY, Bale was at a NYCFC game, De Bruyne was all over Twitter that he was there.
