Well, we have one thread for Pogba and one for Sterling, so maybe this lad is worth one as well.

On the BlueMoonRising Youtube channel today they mentioned him as a very likely signing. Some French source has said that he will sign before the weekend.

Fabinho, 21 year old brazilian right back, playing for Monaco. He's totally unknown to me - what's your opinion of him?
Do we need another -inho? Is it wise to sign such a young right back, when we have so much potential knocking on the door from the youth academy?

If he's a Brazilian, for my money, we ought to tread carefully.

Now if he was an Argentinian..... well that's a different story altogether.

I don't think that's an issue. We all want Maffeo for example to go straight to our squad to compete with Zabba but let's remember he is still 17.

so when you think about it this way - is he better option than Sagna for the next couple of seasons and maybe someone who could even replace Zabba before his legs are completely gone... if he is, go for it. if in two years' time Maffeo comes through this Fabinho bloke would surely command a decent transfer fee, being 23 at the time etc.

no idea whether he's any good tho.
