Nice one, Beefy. Enjoyed his gag about Jesus coming back as a singer.

Have to say he nailed it, there.
I think as his command of English gets better, he is more comfortable and is even taking the piss out of the medias predictability.

Guardiola is very assertive, clearly shown in the way he puts down stupid or deliberate shit-stirring questions, but the club could help him by noting the names of every reporter present - I'm sure they do this anyway - and tell them that if any of them ask any of the questions that won't be answered (about referees and, as things stand and barring any club announcement, Aguero's future) they will be barred from future press conferences.

Even though they're probably told to take the softly-softly approach to the media, our PR Dept is absolutely woeful and are stealing a living. Regardless of the stated approach, you are their to protect the club, the brand, the manager and everybody else and when you see that being harmed, you act. The media take the piss without any comeback when they should be grabbing them behind the scenes and leaving them understanding that it won't be tolerated. If they don't take the hint, just make it very hard for them to even get in the ground, never mind giving them the opportunity to chow down on our gourmet buffet and expensive vino.

Thanks for posting that CTID; it made nice reading.
On one of the photographic captions, Sterling is described as a "wing wizard". Given last summer's media fuelled nadir for our Raheem, that's some turnaround.

whatever happened to 'our' Peter Gardner?
EDIT - he's writing for the Torygraph these days!
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/footba ... gland.htmlApparently a lifelong Blackpool supporter who famously replied when questioned about his allegiances that 'I'am not a fan with a typewriter'. As the last tine of that article indicates he is bitter man. Still wants revenge about being replaced by Paul Hince when he started unfairly slagging performances after he was booted off the team bus by Kendall.

Surely the inspiration for Coogan's character. Voice apart, the way he threw his arms out at the beginning for emphasis was pure Partridge twatiness.

Just watchin Kane and Ali being interviewed. Funny cos when we have the early game it's always - you can see feedback on SSN - as they rush off elsewhere

Key 103 - a Manchester based radio station - "Sunderland could move off bottom with a win over Manchester City" what?! Wait! A Manchester based radio station is focusing on what could happen for the opposition?
