I genuinely don’t think we did it enough. We had Lampard with us from NY. But apart from that I think we should have done it more and watched them cry.

When we had the takeover and had started to acquire clubs around the world I wondered whether we could for arguments sake let Melbourne City or Torque(Uruguay) buy Messi and not give a shit about FFP in that country, then loan him to City.

I was gutted we didn’t take David Villa from NY when Aguero was injured.

Back in the day Villa and big Dave were quite a double act.
We got by far the best deal out of the pair.

Yes and No I loved David Silva. David Villa was a killer, who slipped into Barca seamlessly, which highlights his class. If we had him now, wow. Precise finisher a rare breed.

Do we still take any notice of the media? I only look at things posted on here now as we know the way our dealings are portrayed.
Slimes, click-bait cunts, not a word of truth when an bias/paid opinion gets more attention.

Saw that earlier and thought the exact same thing
Will they fall foul of FFP as they also lost a similar sum the previous year?

I hope they’re stuck with Kane now. They only other asset they have is Son. They’re a team on the decline massively.

Decline? Decline from what? Were they good at any stage? Did they win anything recently?
They have always been shit.

From a top 4 side for a good few years to the mid table. From a side who played in the CL more regularly than the rags or dippers at one point to having little to chance of appearing in it again. The trophy engravers never had to learn how to spell Tottenham, but they weren’t as shit as is made out
