Seriously, do his editors/bosses never pull him to one side and ask him to change to record, or at least make his hatred a bit more subtle?

Oliver (the cunt) Holt not far behind, saying since 1937, 4207 games in all, rags have had an own grown player in squad. This apparently means they have a closer bond with local community than City. What a plonker

Seen this trotted out before. Always wondered how they managed to have a squad without a home grown player in 1936.

For United, this is the be-all and end-all of the campaign, and a potential landmark moment. The current squad are keenly aware of this. Even allowing for the economics of the modern game, most of these players are at United because of the prestige of the club. They want to preserve what makes it special.
Casemiro is understood to have internalised it. Marcus Rashford has been talking about it. Ten Hag has similarly pressed all of this home.

I love these type of articles. Keep them coming OD my friend
When it goes tits up they are there in black and white to reference and remind the rags the sheer ludicrousness of it. Like when Camelgob stated Ole's at the wheel, sign him up.
Rashford I can get is at the rags because he's a fan. But Casemiro? A five year deal at circa 300k+ a week is the reason he went there. Nothing more, nothing less. And everyone else. They certainly aren't there to pick up trophies and medals consistently
Delaney is a rag fan in the fortunate position of being a chief journalist at a UK newspaper. He is simply doing all he can to big up the rags and tubthump their cause. The fact he comes across as a buffoon and a major knob whilst doing it is an added bonus of being a source of much merriment for the rest of us.
