When we bought him Juve fans couldn't believe they'd let him go. He's looked decent in patches but not been given a run. Can't blame him for wanting out.

He clearly wasn't right for City - he turned down free wine.

Liverpool broke their own personal PL best in terms of number of passes in a game in the match against Sheffield United. We still hold the top 3 spots in terms of number of passes (and I don't know how many more games come before Liverpool's). Here's how the media reported it:

check out the BS the beeb are putting out about Scouse2. Mercifully, most normal people don't simply believe what they read in the press - online or in print.

I’m not sure what we’re seeing from the media at the moment, can’t tell if it’s just against the club as a whole or that they’re trying to force Pep out with their shit questions and headlines. Asking Pep if he is ‘Failure’ in the presser was so lame and rightly got the answer it deserved.

Oh, and Sky Sports were very specific in saying that Garcia was a product of La Masia as he joined us at 16 whereas they report Rag youth players who joined at 17 or 18 years old as being part of their Academy system. You know, having an Academy player in every team since Jesus was born.

Anybody would think this was an organised campaign to discredit everything we do.

I think it's a bit of both. In the main, I think they are silently fearing a rebuild and backlash. Trying to force Pep out is their way of stopping that. I don't think they understand how much it is going to piss him off when the scousers walk away with the league.
The commenta re Garcia and any one of our youngsters is just embarrassing and shows their colours. Wont be long before Doyle gets tagged with his grandads drinking.....

I've got to admit I find the opposite to be true. Most people see or hear a headline and believe that without checking facts or integrity of reporting. Which is why the media in this country gets away with spouting such large quantities of utter bullshit and pass it off as the truth.
