He’s a very good player and we have to come to terms with the fact that he may turn out just as good, if not better than Foden. For a young player like that to effectively and pretty much single-handedly keep Chelsea in the top half of the table and be their best player by a country mile, I personally take my hat off to him. Imagine where they’d be without him ?
As for POTY….? nowhere near Foden this time round.
I personally think he’ll be a fantastic player through his mid-late 20’s and I wish him well and wish he’d stayed.

Really? Come off it.
Imagine Foden playing in that Chelsea side, he'd be herald as messiah. Foden's contribution this season could lead to multiple trophies, I doubt Palmer would had the same impact.

Without Palmer’s pens he’d be close to Jackson’s tally for the season. Actually, if you give Jackson the penalties then he’s not so shit is he?

Foden is in his fifth season with us playing in the first team, he’s been around true world class players and is a world class player himself as a result. Palmer played a relative handful of games in his career with us. For him to go elsewhere, suddenly start playing regularly and producing the quality that he has in a truly average team is remarkable and should be applauded, and he is heralded as the “messiah” at Chelsea. I have no doubt that if Palmer had played the same of time that Foden has had at City he would have had a major influence. I’m not saying he’s quite at Foden’s level yet, but he has huge potential and that speaks volumes of our academy which should be proud to be producing such great players..

I must live in another dimension, Palmer is a talent and I wish we didn't sell him. However, in terms of natural football ability, he'll never match Foden, there are things you just can't teach. Bobb has better footballing ability than Palmer. Time will tell
