Like I said in the FFP thread: the Mancini deal could very well fall under tax avoidance.

Not if he was employed as a football consultant by ADUG prior to his appointment as City manager -which he was- so the £9m might well be related to that contract also being terminated. We do employ accountants that are supposed to know about this stuff and we also have audited accounts accepted by UEFA.

Interesting, given this rag registered in a tax 'haven'.

Well I never!
"Rothermere family, Daily Mail
A Lady Rothermere trust is recorded in Jersey. It appears to refer to the late Lord Rothermere's second wife, Maiko Lee, of Korean nationality. She did not respond to our invitations to comment. Rothermere's son Jonathan by his first wife inherited the Daily Mail, also through a Jersey trust, and a Bermuda-registered offshore entity. Jonathan is estimated to be worth £760m. He has not denied claiming tax concessions as a "non-dom", on the grounds that his father lived in Paris. He resides at Ferne Park, a stately home in Wiltshire built for him by architect Quinlan Terry."

I was under the impression they would do that to amybody, not just Manchester City. In fact, don't they go on to tell us the number of football people, all but at most one of whom are not Manchester city, they are pursuing relentlessly already.

That's HMRCs statement on anybody who evades paying tax, not specific to us. Looks like the DF couldn't even be arsed contacting HMRC, they just checked out the website.

That cunt Uli Hoeness who allegedly is behind the Der Spiegel bullshit should know a thing or two about tax evasion ! Oh the hypocrisy !

The good old days.

I often wonder if we'd have ever found ourselves down there without Kinky in the side. The words of Rosler and Walsh certainly give the impression we'd have been better off without him.

And yet he doesn't get banned by the club. I don't think the club gives a singular shit about this stuff.
