The rotation of Liverpool or rags in the media finding anything to have a pop at City continues. I bet he still weeps at slippy G's
Moment. Wanker in the media peddling the agenda.

There was a legend, maybe the dutch posters can help us a bit, Ajax had a pre-season presentation match at home and invited Bayern. Usually on that games, the opponents try not to ruin the show, but Bayern came and won 5-1 or 6 or something like that. Big win.

The thing is, what the fuck is this with soft "ease up a bit", "slow down", etc. When did everybody became so preoccupited by the morale of the opponents? Let's not score more than 5, we might offend them.

Fuck it! Score 12 instead of 10 just to take the piss.

Just spent a lunch hour reading the replies to that spunk-trumpet Ogden's tweet. How he can call himself a sports journalist and keep a straight face is beyond me. Apart from the odd rag/arse prick following the agenda and agreeing, he gets a new one ripped - and rightly so. Even non-footie fans were calling him out. Complete and utter arsehole who should have his press badge revoked.

What a load of made-up bollocks. We were 6-0 up after 62 minutes, where's the professional etiquette in passing from side to side for 28 minutes instead of entertaining the fans who have paid to watch, whether at the ground or on Sky?

Hey, fuck the fans that paid money to watch the match. Fuck them. We should have stopped at 6

And who the fuck decided the number 6 is reasonable to stop at?

The thing is if teams had played their full strength teams v Burton in the earlier rounds like Middlesbrough Burton wouldn't have reached the semi final, so blame them for fielding under strength teams.if Newport had played a full strength Leicester side they would have probably lost, so if Newport managed to draw city at the ethiad in a later round don't blame us if we score another nine.

Why is a pic of Sterling even in this article about Stones?

Anyone complaining online that we were disrespectful is just looking for a cheap shot at us because we have been the best team in England since 2012.

They’ll moan about that or that we might not have sold every ticket for a match because that’s what they’ve been reduced to.

respect for the opponent was very apparent, hence no showboating ! pep pulled sterling on his dislike of those antics in the recent derby (it should have been 10)..

I said "in case I offended anyone". Sorry if I've offended you by apologising just incase I offended anyone.

Now the media is going to bash the women's team. They just beat Brighton 7-1 in the League Cup.

john@staustell wrote:Etihad atmosphere is getting a lot of plaudits - at least on Talksport and here at work!!

Personally I think Liverpool struggled to cope with it for the first hour (as well as the hard press)

The atmosphere is only like that once every few years...the last time we had an atmosphere like that was against Hamburg (I think it was )

If it was a cauldron all the time we would never lose at home....ever.

To be fair, it was great against Chelsea first home game of the season a few back. Problem is definitely on City's side with Showsec being bellends in my opinion

Atmosphere has lots of factors. The opposition, the build up, the situation at the time that the team finds itself in, the media can also be a factor.

I agree in with what Carl says, if we had that atmosphere every game. We wouldn't lose. Mind you if Liverpool had the atmosphere of their 4-3 or their CL 3-0 against us every game, they would be in a similar position.

I have to hold my hands up and say that sometimes I just want to watch the game. Most of the time I am joining in and losing my voice but sometimes I just don't feel it.

We know we can generate it as there has been some very memorable atmospheric games in recent years gone by. Remember the Joey Barton's 1st game back after suspension following the dabo incident, City fans booed him and the atmosphere was actually excellent, very strange feeling and imo it was his best ever game in a city shirt, he was outstanding as he had a point to prove.

Chelsea, Arsenal, Rags, both Scouse teams have all generated some excellent atmospheres. Hamburg was on a par with the Derby 4-1 SWP last minute and the Liverpool game last week as the big stand out atmospheres.

On the Derby 4-1, anyone who was there and remembers the Rags team sheet being read out before kickoff, the whistling was deafening and set the tone for the rest of the game. The team certainly responded in style.
