Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

My own selection:
League - 4th
Domestic Cups - At least one good run
UCL - Qualify from Group
Some rather conservative choices I feel. Not expecting to achieve much more but naturally I'll be ecstatic if we do.
The league grows stronger every transfer window and so does our challenge of retaining a berth at the top.
I'm not expecting forgiving fixtures, injuries or officiating. Why would I? We love adversity anyway.
I do, however, hope I don't go to another game the likes of the Moscow home leg..
That said, I'm pretty much salivating at the thought of our attacking potential being met. Could be truly scintillating.
Might update depending on incoming transfers.

Will reserve judgement on that until I've seen us play tonight. We couldnt have asked for a better start with both rivals dropping unexpected points at home, so if that isn't extra incentive i dont know what is

I'll admit I was going to go with 2nd. Was hoping we'd get De Bruyne and then I'd have said 1st, but we look like the team to beat now.

I said 1st because I have faith in this team. I also said we needed de bruyne though so hedging my bets a touch.

In the words of Winston Wolf..."let's not start suckin each other's cocks just yet fellas. "
Cheers
The % of people who have opted for league champions has dropped from 67%1 week before the season started, to 59% after two very good 3.0 wins.

I've reassessed and am now going for 1st instead of 3rd. We luck tuned-in and have quality everywhere on the pitch. Plus we'll add quality before the transfer window closes.

I waited to see what happened in the transfer window before deciding. In the meantime we've seen us start in splendid style and our rivals look dog shit, (ok, ordinary at best).
So, Champions.
I desperately want a Wembley weekend, ( weirdly I'd sooner the League Cup rather than the FA Cup, due to the costs involved with the semi being there too)
In the Greed League, I think we have a great chance to win our group and get beyond the last 16 if we do. Anything could happen after that.
City and sniffing knickers.
Come on Blues.

Waited until the window was shut to make predictions.
The window has been very very good and that will make the difference in the league, as it did for chelsea last season.
Loads saying were going to walk the league, we might. MCFC doing something easily without a bit of trauma? Really, that will be nice. Chelsea will recover, 8 points is nothing at this stage. But all being equal I expect us with the good transfer dealings to pull through in May.
A cup would be nice and we have the squad for it so we should be going for it.
Champs League, looks like we going to play a formation/tactics more suited to that competition so a semi final place.

"Expectations for the current season" and we have people changing their votes and people waiting for the season to be four games old. I don't think they get the concept.

Armed with the facts. The transfer window has a big effect on expectations. Plus it allows you to have a sly shufti at how we start.

To be fair, the original post does suggest some people will wait for the transfer window to finish to either make their choice or amend a choice from earlier as we will have a better idea of squads after that.
I myself updated from second to first in Premier league following the signings of Otamendi and KDB. Coupled with Arsenals, Chelsea's and rags lack of decent signings and I think we have the best squad now by far, hence my upgrade.
