Father of Rat Boy

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Father of Rat Boy

Postby Mikhail Chigorin » Fri Aug 07, 2015 11:28 am

Apologies if this has been mentioned elsewhere but I've just read that Neville Neville has died, whilst in Australia.

Couldn't be bothered to find out how he had met his end (probably something highly shady), AS my only thoughts are 'good riddance to a worthless piece of lousy and decrepit garbage'.

Here's hoping Rat Boy follows him shortly because of a broken heart.......

I don't do RIP things, especially online. But some things are more important than football. Besides GNevs a good footie pundit. I'm sure they will do what they need to as a family and carry on with their lives and careers. I don't think any sort of rivalry abuse is appropriate at times of death, a little respect should be shown or nothing said at all.

Bit harsh really mate.

He has been in Oz supporting his daughter who is the coach of the England women's Netball team at the world cup and has had a heart attack. Tracy Neville is going to continue with the campaign which I think takes almighty guts which must be an horrendous time for her and her family. I hope they go on to win the tournament.

Surely you jest, old chum.

cheers

P.S. i love women's netball, and i hope her ladies smash it. Big, tall, athletic horse-faced women putting balls in a net? Or better still trying to keep them out? Yes please.

cheers again

it's fairly depressing for sure. I even hate when people get excited about an opposing player injury, so pounding your chest about some fucker's death is obscene. But i'd like this thread to stick so nextime Mikhail calls me out i can reference this to consider his faux-morality.

It's like France in the 1950s. People love a false morality both in the US and Western Europe.

cheers

Bit naughty this thread but let's be honest here Mik has given Cilla a fair bashing in off topic.

So he was championing a good cause...
So was jimmy Savile

Anyway, maybe I've got the facts wrong.

I don't get this whole respect for the dead thing - I either respect someone or I don't. Fair enough to want to consider those bereaved but it's not like rat boy or his siblings will be coming on here in person.

I agree. I've been in the same pub as Neville Neville a few times in Bury and the guy was a prick. Condolences to the family.

I take it him being the father of the Neville brothers allowed him to get off his sex offence he was charged with.

Bad taste, but it's not often two Nevilles die at the exact same moment.

I thought this thread wouldn't last very long, but it's clearly a Neville ending story.

Whatever he's done he is still someone's dad, husband, brother, friend etc. he is certainly not gonna be on anyone's Christmas card list from the blue side, but I for one would just like to pay a little respect to the aforementioned people in their time of grief.
