16 years old....!
any of the eds/youth crew seen him play before and are able to compare his level with that of our youngsters?

Honestly, no. Didn't see the game either. I'd be very surprised if we haven't got a youngster who couldn't equally impress given a chance though. Nice to see a young lad given a game though and actually excel. Classy touch from Bilic to only discuss his tactical and technical ability and not even mention his age once too...

I thought it was a good debut. Kept it nice and simple, always finding a man with an easy pass, held his position well and even broke forward into a great position once.

haha good one. Fair play to Bilic for picking him. Hope west ham do well this season and kick on. Bilic isnt your run of the mill football man or a wide boy like pardew or sherwood. Hes interesting.

I was getting pissed on cheap cider and doing the odd bit of fingering at 16 not marking Ozil out of the game.

Got a mate who is a West Ham fan who was raving about this lad in their youth team last year. Was surprised to see him get his debut. fair play though. he looked very composed.
