Didn't he say he was proving that only Lukaku was worth playing upfront? Rashford, Lingard etc hung out to dry, especially Rashfird.

Basically said that it wasn't his fault.

The difference between how Pep has managed Sterling and how Jose has managed Rashford is remarkable.

I’m not saying Rashford is as good as Sterling but he has looked like a promising youngster with potential. Publicly shaming someone at that age is only going to hinder their development.

But that's it, Pep is a coach whilst PEG is a manager. One knows how to play the game, the other knows how to manage a game, and that's why PEG would never win with equal resources.

Maureen has inadvertently said that their youth policy doesn't work and that the likes of Rashford only make the bench because they have nobody else. Funnily enough, that's how he got his chance, when Maureen was stuck for forwards a couple of seasons back.

But not a man manager!!

They did sign Bale this time last summer. And Ronaldo the summer before.

Had the misfortune to tuning into TalkSport this morning whilst going to the Tip. I thought I'd be listening to the aftermath of the cup final but it seemed to 2 wierdo's talking anything other than sport. Then the news came on and it wasn't about the winners, only that 'Herrera/Maureen states that they deserved to win before going on about the Rags new women's team manager.

Just shows what lengths the media will go to set the tone of the debate, championing the Rags cause rather than upsetting their precious listeners.

But then, with a moment of clarity, it all made sense. The 2 mind numbing fuckers who were talking moved onto Maureen with one asking the other if he should be sacked. He replied that he wouldn't have hired him in the first place to which the originator agreed before they both openly stated that they were Rags.

As you can guess, the joy in my car was escalated somewhat as I realised that these 2 fuckwits had been penned into the programme as they were expecting a win. As the outcome didn't suffice, they were left with talking about the Royal wedding. Not what I expect from a sports programme but eh-oh, I got to chuckle in the end.

It was indeed a pleasant surprise.

There's a few people at work I need to enquire if they had a good weekend :D

Rashford is decent but over-hyped. I did like this though: 'Compared to Manchester City, United look as though they play the game in clogs'.

Without any doubt, I would sign Rashford in a heartbeat. I think he is the only decent player the rags have.

I've watched him for a couple of years now and he's very limited IMO mate. Nowhere near as good as Razza's!

I reckon he passes to a team mate about 50% of the time. Cause he's dangerous-looking people miss the basic faults in his game

I think he is used wrong by Maureen. I think Rashford is a poacher, not a winger and not a rival for Razza.
He was played like that by Louie the Fourth when he came in and impressed.

A top class coach would sort him out and bring out the best in him. He has speed for certain, can go past players but usually at full tilt and not really in control of the ball or what he is going to do. He frightens defenders but more often than not his final ball is lacking.

there are loads of rashfords in the academy systems - it was just that lvg gave him a chance... wasn’t there another lad ahead of him who was injured and that is why rashford got the nod?

That is fucking class. Started off like he had some sort of idea but then turned out to be the typical desperate Rag that we see every day of the week.

Whoever did it, well done and we'll put together.

I think Pep would turn Rashford into a world class player. He needs to learn he’s quick enough to go past players without tuning up to 100%. Look at Sane, just slowing down a little has made him one of the most feared players in the league. Still got it in the tank if he needs, but his mazy runs are a constant source of joy for me.
