Twitter alight with news that major outlets in Madrid are claiming that the relevant paperwork for De Gea/Navas transfer didn't arrive at the La Liga in time. Drama.

Shows just how desperate the rags have become.

For comparison, Rivière was bought by Newcastle last season for £6m having scored 13 goals in 36 games for Monaco in 2013-14. Martial scored 9 goals in 35 games for Monaco in 2014-15. Rivière then went on to only score one goal all season for Newcastle last year.

So they just paid £36m for what exactly?? We got Sterling and KDB. They got rid of "kid wonder", RVP, Di Maria, and Hernandez... and they got 2 untested youngsters from the French and Dutch leagues. Add to the fact that LVG has moved on all their so called 'acadmey players' such as Fletcher, Evans, Welbeck , Blackett, and Cleverly. Welbeck and RVP are especially piss funny, as they would really help their squad now.

Danny Blind playing CB. Afro-Elbows uptop. Shrek looking looking like his preseason has been marathon pub sessions. The record British transfer signing running away after one season (and being benched for 1/2 of it with Ashley Young taking his place). Their starting goal keeper (and their player of the year last season) tried his best to get the fuck out asap, but couldn't because the rags sent over the paperwork too late and password protected them by accident.

If you squint your eyes a little, the rags look like a completely incompetent Newcastle, but that's being unfair to Mike Ashley and Newcastle. Woodward can't even operate a fax machine or send an email. hahahaha

Gary Neville had tweeted this back on the deadline day in 2012 ... obviously this has been dug up now and thrown around everywhere on Twitter:

All the stories about Van Gaal isolating and alienating players should be no surprise to anyone at the club or the fans. It's what he has done all his career. There's a great book written some time ago about him by some Dutch journo, title is "O Louis".
This guy was friends with LVG and then was dropped like a hot potato and spent the next year following him and other contacts to "understand" the man better. His conclusion? No surprise, he's a charismatic leader at one level but a thin skinned control freak at another.
His mindset is much more Mancini than Pellegrini. One thing I admire massively about Pellers is how after last seasons disappointments he didn't turn on the under performers publicly and alienate them but seems to have worked 1:1 and collectively to create a stronger team environment.

Mancini and LVG would I think have publicly humiliated them and tried to get them out of the door.

What's kept Van Gaal going is that on the whole he has delivered the results. But at every club he has been at when the results stop coming the shit descends very fast.
