I watched until the end of the first half of extra-time but was so bored I tuned into NCSI. What was the outcome; take it Arsenal can now concentrate on the PL/FA/League Cup?

They let a goal in near the end then missed a great chance in the last minute, so that’s the end of their European ‘campaign’.

Arsenal’s front two are up there with the worst for missing sitters. I wouldn’t touch either of them, that sitter at the end was indefensible.

Yep I'd say they're laughing their arses off having not finished above us for 7 years, watching us winning trophies while they struggle to compete.

Do you think that mattered to them yesterday or the other two times this season when they had our pants down? It fucking mattered to me stood inside the swamp- just a pity that our leader could care less about local pride.

Think about his question mate.

I'm as pissed off as anyone at yesterday but come on, this thread is about how consistently poor they've been, if they have a similar one as this on there then their heads really are up their arses.

On the contrary, they're celebrating yesterday like they've won the world cup, how times have changed.

In the grand scheme of the season, it makes no real difference as we have already long thrown the towel in. I'm not arsed at whether they have a thread or not the fact is they have beaten us 3 out of 4 times this season and I find that embarrassing being as they are the worst red shite team that I have ever seen in my lifetime. May be not the right thread for me to be ranting on

The funny thing is they think they played well, they didn't, they couldn't string more rhan two passes together. We gift wrapped both of their goals. They fought harder, were hungrier for it, defended well, no shortage of tactical foul (but only City do them) but their football was shit.

But their football was shit - as opposed to our beautiful game that cost us another 3 points

What?! I made no mention of our game, we were shit too, difference is their keeper made a routine stop when called on, ours didn't.

My point was the irony of the line "but their football was shit"
Doubtless it was, it still got them another win over us
