I hope Rooney's consolation goal gives them just enough belief in themselves to think it will all come right.

Roll on Swansea.

Wow Santa, didn't expect you to grant this before Xmas. Thanks all the same

What do you mean 'Again'? You not seen them play since Taggart fucked them off?

I thought early doors this season they were looking a bit better than in the last couple of seasons. I know that's not necessarily been too hard but they did win a pot last year

Don't be so disrespectful, they've already won one this season!

Tut, tut ;-)

So, in the week when City vs Barca in the Champs League thrillingly lived up to its billing as the biggest game of the week, mid-table United stumble to defeat to some mid-table Turkish team in the shit European competition.

YCNMIU ;)

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho: "Our problems started in our global attitude. They were playing the Champions League final, we were playing a summer friendly.

"They deserved to win, football is not just about quality, it is also about effort, commitments, playing the limits and giving everything.

"A team that concedes after two minutes is a team that is not ready, not mentally prepared, not focused, not concentrated"

Re that last comment. Assume the interviewer picked up on it and said "but it's the managers job to get the team ready, focused and mentally prepared. Does that mean you are now a specialist in failure?"

Just seen a stat, Wenger has won the same amount of games in his last 8 games than Mourinho has in his last 42.

That's bad

I particularly liked this little gem.

Not only do the rag faithful have no idea of their fixtures, but the sense of disappointment is tangible.

Hilarious.
