Saw this hilarious appraisal of the Sancho signing in the Grauniad:

(United) "... remember, is a club that can claw back millions on a transfer via image rights and myriad global commercial tie-ups. If Paul Pogba is the current billboard player, his successor just joined. If the asking price for Harry Kane, who is six years older, is north of £150m then Sancho’s acquisition is slick work by Ed Woodward, who can expect a rare Twitter amnesty even in a rabid social media age because no criticism should be aimed his way.

What the executive vice‑chairman achieves in signing Sancho is to elevate Solskjær’s side, while enhancing the United glamour factor because the lad from south London’s goal- and assist-rich displays come sprinkled with stardust. For the sole English club whose allure has them in the Club Hollywood bracket with Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich, his arrival is a statement that the world’s finest young talents with their best years ahead can and do choose United."

No prizes for guessing who wrote it (clue: he usually writes the match reports for City games in said paper).

Well fuck me, people up in arms and big social media back lash apparently because of Sir Rashfords spitting image puppet and his inclusion in the programme!!

Bunch of wet cunts, if they can poke fun at the queen and the pope making them look ugly with out any complaints.

In all honesty I think it's one of their best I terms of look alikes.

Sad fucking world

Oh and for the record, I never liked the programme, but each to their own.

Fail with loads of articles about the rags and four negative articles , all rehashed btw about City.

Time to start bringing these no names before a judge .

the thing is, our owners will not go for the mail and other papers, they will think it's bad business, go for the fuckers and show what's good for business because while they get away with it, our name will be mud

Rob Harris reported me, so now I'm suspended from Twatter. Must have rattled his cage. It's time we go hard on these leeches, make it uncomfortable for them. Enough is enough

Manchester Utd are considering using Anrhony Martial in a swap deal for Haaland according to the Beeb gossip. What, him and 200 million....? Gotta love them

The sad thing is if we owned Haaland at this point in time and wanted to sell him, United would most probably be able to get more money for Martial than we would Haaland.

united lost Pogba to Juventus for less than 1 mill compensation and bought him back for 90 mill.
They're hardly a shining endorsement of good transfer business.

And still they pay 70 mil for Sancho, while earlier this season they released their finance sheet and they were 450 mil in debt, or close.
And still you don't hear anyone complain about FFP breaches.
