I'm sure it was.
As was Pogba, Sanchez, Fred and others too numerous to mention.
They never learn.

Maybe we should let out to the media that we're about to buy the whole Oldham Athletic squad.
All on a player for player arrangement with no cash involved.

I have been very disappointed with Pep's far too cautious approach in the last few years, so I hope he shows far more confidencein the squad this season.

A huge City win, like the 6-1 (or more) could be the final humiliation in the rags coffin, showing the World just how big the gap between them and City really is.
It could also be the catalyst for them to delf destruct even further

Sadly though, it is far more likely that Pep will fuck it up again.

Why?

It's the pessimist in me

Plus even Agent Ole, dim though he seems, might have worked out that playing a pressing game with non pressing players against a good team is suicide. Back to parking the bus and playing on the break

I read his comments after the match and he said along the lines of we are utd we should try to impose ourselves on rhe opposition - it was my choice - so you never know. One thing is for sure, play like that again and we would tear them apart. So I am expecting him to revert to type against us

It's the pessimist in me

I could imagine a scene to sign up to be a City fan like the one in Blazing Saddles

Reson for being a City fan?

Pessimism
Hate rags and dippers
Family is blue
Fergie is a nonce
Pessimism

You said pessimism twice

Comes with the territory

Stick with ole, that's what I like to hear, fantastic stuff, a policy to be actively and ardently promoted.
In fact extend his contract for another 5 years.

Roy 'straight talker, shoot from the hip, call it as it is, objective, impartial, honest pundit & MASSIVE CNUT' Keane must be on holidays. Lucky for OGS, as true professional pundit Keane would no doubt tear into him just like he does to everyone else.

Meanwhile Gary ' no to SL but support the Glazers for years' Neville thinks the club will 'hold their nerve' and leave Ollie in place until the end of the season before reviewing.

As has been said before, both are mates of his and so won't stick the knife in in public. The glazers have said they will stick with him so I'm more than happy with that. If we can keep him at the wheel for next season that would be the big 10 years without winning the PL. Maybe bring king kung fu eric back out if retirement next- here's hoping

On a more serious note, while we are all laughing at the woes of the old corrupt (big?) clubs, currently, the failures of the rags and Arse particularly and maybe Spurs as a lesser chuckle, It only cements their need to change the system back to one that favours them....possibly another version, or modification of the recently failed Euro Super League.

Be under no illusion that this threat has gone away. It is still alive and well and being fought for in some form or another in the courts.

The old infrastructures they set up to maximise their profits have been proven to have had a defence as leaky as that of the rags v Dippers at weekend and the hurdles they put in place to defend their elite positions have been gatecrashed by Chelsea, City, with the likelihood of Newcastle overtaking them.

FiFA and UeFA are currently under threat from Madrid, Barca and Juve in the courts and they are in danger of losing their administrative powers to the big rich clubs

Until then, LET'S ENJOY THEIR PROBLEMS AND LAUGH LIKE FUCK AT THEM.

I didn't see it myself but didn't Scholes say they are a pile of shite and need to get rid?

Much like when he failed pathetically at Oldham then.

Scholes said Chelsea have the worst defence out of the “top 4”. The guy is high on toe nails.

He predicted that the vermin would spank them, he was correct (although it was obvious). But his talk is very damaging, he needs to pipe the fuck down.
