Agree with you and DH. I really rate Lionel, but he's going nowhere under Mo and never will.

I keep hearing stuff about dressing room problems, Jose falling out with players and even some handbags. Just wonder if it's true and what gets done about it. If there is player unrest and if the players are key, very expensive players it will be fascinating to see how it gets resolved.

I am biased obviously, but it's always struck me as a nasty, unhappy club even when things go well. City has always seemed a good place for players.

But with his football brain, maybe if he lost some weight he might get a start with them. They'll be looking for new players.

This fat lard desperation was on another level, he couldn't bring himself to blame Jose and kept blaming scum players for their failure. The excuses ran it's course, the two poxy pots they won last season was papering over the cracks. They are cracking, they are afraid of the blue half domination. This is why we must retain the title and send them into oblivion.

Fascinating indeed.
The rumours are to consistent and frequent not to have some credibility.
  • Pogba cannot be happy.
IMO Sanchez is a class player but not since he joined the Rags.
Rashford, Martial, et al. cannot be happy either.

Earlier in the season it looked to me like Mo was preparing to leave (based on his interviews and attitude towards his players).
Maybe he has no big club to head to and has to stay?

It seems to be shaping up as a Mo. Vs. the key expensive players.
I see at least one big change before start of next season.
For ex Pogba or Mo - one of them leaves.
It will be Mo who goes if there is more than one big player with the hump, say Pogba, Sanchez and De Gea.

I hope Mo stays.
The right manager could turn the Rags into winners.
They have great attacking potential.
Get a world class creative player and two decent defenders, play Pogba in his correct position, get Sanchez firing and keep De Gea.
IMO if they do that with the right manager, they would be very close to us next season.

The board will have to make that call - before the start of next season - hopefully they stay with Mo.

That's the big worry with the rags

As you say, lets hope moaning Mo stays

It was rumoured that Paul Pogba wanted to join City last January.

Just imagine our midfield it we'd have signed him, it would have been KDB, Silva and Fernandinho

in all honesty though, i’d love pep to sign him and turn into the most amazing midfielder ever. the outcry from the swamp dwellers would be epic.

It's a shame Pogba seems to really like Utd despite the way he's been treated. Otherwise he might just fancy coming across to the light and sticking one up Jose. But in any case I don't think we are likely to pay crazy money for such a player

I can see things getting toxic between those two next season, and in the final analysis it'll amount to which of them would cost the least to get rid of . Pog cost 90 mill , and they'll have to pay Jose , and his staff, I don't know how many millions to go away (having just signed his extension a few weeks ago).
Also , Sanchez is on 20 odd mill a season and equally part of the witches brew. Something could get pretty rotten in the state of Swampland. . . it could just turn out even better than a particularly gory episode of "I, Claudius".
The only thing more entertaining will be our football.
