Doesn't mean the offer was made directly to Pep. Offered to the club and hence for Pep to consider.

Denial is irrelevant, as is whom he approached pep or club as it amounts to the same thing surely?

I have no reason to disbelieve Pep, I have every reason to disbelieve an agent whose only interest is his own.

Pogba will be pissed if he didn't know about, if he did know then he's going to look like a cunt to Maureen, the club and fans.

Like I say who you gonna believe? The agent will take legal action for slander against Pep if it's not true surely?

I don't think he knew, as soon as the news broke he tweeted.

Or he was waiting for the news to drop, that tweet seems a little contrived to me, as if he knew that having been knocked back by Pep it would come out one day?

On the flip, if he didn't know he's gonna still be ostracised by Maureen/club/fans 24 hours before they play us

Just a shame Pep didn't have a mic drop comment about Lukako too, now that would have been fun :D

Semantics turning on the phrase "offered me" but the truth will get lost in the fog of journalism. I admit I haven't watched the video and heard what Pep said, only read the quotes on the BBC website and, for journo fog, the same article includes this rewriting of the "offered me" snippet:

Guardiola said the pair's agent, Mino Raiola, contacted him and told him the midfielders were available

Is that what Pep said or is it an interpretation of his "offered me" quote?

No, as with all things on the BBC these days that is a straight-forward lie. He offered the club these two pieces of shite and Pep declined as it is his job (being the manager). He specifically said no personal contact from Raiola.

Losing at home to the bottom of the league club who had won one of their last 30odd games, to give the PL title to their rivals.

You couldn’t make it up

Probably the first time a team has won away at the League leaders then lost at home to the bottom team in successive games

If you want a good laugh read what all the 'experts' had to say about the Rags (and Lulu) in Oct/Nov.
Pure comedy gold.

I don't have it here to copy, but I particularly enjoyed the picture doing the rounds of the Old Toilet with "Pit of Misery, dilly dilly" written underneath. :D

Some right knobs in there. No doubt most of them will, against all reason, predict the same this year
