To be fair, Mourinho got one half of his masterclass correct today. The nil in the rag part of the scoreline. Shame he forgot to tell his defenders not to concede.

maybe.
dont forget the very friendly help by Big Red Tony fella, early in the match, though. ;)
had that stood the canvass would have unfolded quite differently.

Yes they could quite easily have been on the end of a hiding. Except for that and the fact that, brilliant goal aside, Morata was gash. And Bakayoko.

I'm really looking forward to the derby. The Miserable One will be losing sleep already.

Not so sure about morata being gash, for my little 5pc I found myself pretty much in agreement with the assessment made by that Magpie turd on Motd.
which, in turn, did trouble me a lot.

spot on with Bakayoko, particularly the 1st squandered chance was utmost gash, no matter if striking is none of his business.

Nice hairdo though.

Speaking of Pogba, wonder what is he doing these days. Trying to learn a new dance?

How much are we selling him for JL ??

Even by selling their entire squad, including Coutinho, I still wouldn't have thought they could afford him.

as much as I despise Thug Tony, Antifootball One is a league of his own and my hatred was already off scale before he endend his natural trajectory exactly where he belongs.

I don't think this has been noted here yet...

Patrice Evra leaves Marseille and is banned for seven months by Uefa

Patrice Evra has left Marseille by mutual consent and been banned from Uefa competition for the rest of the season for kicking one of his own fans.

The former Monaco, Manchester United and Juventus full-back, 36, is banned by Uefa until June 2018, the same month his Marseille deal would have ended.

There was the French rag Cantona of course but who else has been kicking fans?

And will Martial live up to his name... ;)

An extract from Klippety's biography.

"Not long before, Manchester United executive vice chairman Ed Woodward had flown out to see Klopp in Germany. David Moyes's short tenure at Old Trafford was coming to an end, and Klopp was United's favourite to replace him, to bring back a sense of adventure to the Red Devils' game.

Woodward told Klopp that the Theatre of Dreams was 'like an adult version of Disneyland', a mythical place where, as the nickname suggested, the entertainment was world class and dreams came true.

Klopp wasn't entirely convinced by that sales pitch — he found it a bit 'unsexy', he told a friend — but he didn't dismiss the proposition out of hand either. After almost six years in the job at Dortmund, perhaps the time was ripe for a change of scenery."

Keep fighting the good fight Ewar.

The work-shy little scrote has finally got a job ...of sorts.

Former Manchester United winger Ryan Giggs is set to sign a consultancy deal to become director of football at a Vietnamese football academy.

The Promotion Fund of Vietnamese Football Talents FC (PVF) said Giggs, 43, will be responsible for coaching players and training coaches.

The two-year deal involves 13-time Premier League winner Giggs making two trips per year to Vietnam.
