Mata has come out today moaning about football not being football anymore and all players are bothered about is dying their hair and practicing their celebrations  Bounch to cause some friction at the rags. This is brilliant!!

I wonder who he might be referring to? Watching this house of cards fall down is great entertainment.

I've got to say, I'm not an avid reader of autobiographies, but I'd love to read Mata's if he ever publishes one. Comes across as an intelligent guy who really loves the game, and, from comments like this, doesn't seem to suffer fools.

He's a fine footballer, far too good for the modern-day howard wilkinson's team.

Pogba is apparently a £120mil target for Real Madrid in the summer. Can't help but thinking what Pep would get out of him ..... the meltdown if City bought him would be brilliant

I honestly can't see that figure happening. The idea of the Rags somehow managing to turn a profit on him (combined with the alleged spending constraints at Real as a result of the Bernabeau deal collapsing) is ludicrous.

He should just sit there like a big peroxide blonde millstone round their necks for as many seasons as possible

Danny Mills or Nigel Clough should be his role models.

Thing is Clough wanted to play, Danny Mills didn't. In Clough's case the manager just never picked him

I always remember watching Clough and thinking he was the laziest player I have seen in a City shirt.

Guardiola is not a miracle-worker. Pogba is a mediocrity hiding beneath a series of attention-seeking haircuts, not a top-class footballer.

When Juve came to the Etihad in th champions league, Pogba was the best player on the pitch. He has the ability, just needs coaching.

Pep would make him a better player, but he'd need a lot of improvement in midfield to be good enough to warm one of our subs' benches.

Not sure about that WW we should have been 7-0 when they got back into it, he was very good for 30 mins I agree with you.

Pigba cannot play the role Mo is asking of him. Seems like he knows it as well and is asking Mo to change formation. Hence the standoff between the two.

Pigba playing in a position that suits him is excellent see his performance for Juve.

But I would not like Pigba at City. He comes across as being unable to adapt his game and being totally self centered.
