mourinho on mctominay....

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43105205

wonder who this comment is aimed at???

McTominay has now made 14 appearances for the Premier League club, eight of them starts, and Mourinho believes he deserves international recognition.

"I think Scott deserves more than what he is getting," the Portuguese said after a 2-0 win that took his side into the quarter-finals.

"Maybe it's because he's this kind of kid profile: a normal haircut, no tattoos, no big cars, no big watches, humble kid, arrive in the club when he was nine or 10.

'Humble' must be a new word that Moanhino has picked up.

He also used the same term last week to describe Sanchez, re his fortunate 'escape' from the possibility of a jail sentence brought about by tax evasion in Spain.

Strange really, as the last thing that Moanhino is, is 'humble'.....so how would he know ??

Barton's philosophy of life on talkspurt is cracking me up. Nothing wrong with stealing a taxi apparently.

Last time I went to Liverpool was November 2002. It was a Sunday and all the shops were closed and covered with iron grills. Plastic bags and bits of newspaper and other paper were blowing around and flying from the bare trees. What a complete absolute fucking dump, full of people with no morals or respect.

Yes - it sounded OK coming from Vinnie Jones, because he really is a hard man and you know he's half tongue in cheek. "If a geyser leaves the keys in his taxi, what you supposed to do, know what I mean"

But coming from Joey he just sounds like the chav he is.

Nothing. But you can laugh at more in life than those two, no?

Mo's latest swipe at us:

Of course, we would like to be better in the Premier League, but we are where we are,’ Mourinho explained in an interview with BT Sport.
‘In the Champions League, we are alive. In the FA Cup, we are alive.
‘In the Carabao Cup, after winning last season, we lost in the quarter-final but we lost like Manchester United likes to lose – with dignity, with fair play, with participation in the happiness of a giant killer.
‘So even in the Capital (Carabao) Cup, we lost against a Championship team, I would say that as a Manchester United manager that way of behaving as a big team, even in defeat we were a big team.’

Mo aligning with dignity and fair play - you just gotta smile
