Changed my tune on this now. I thought he may be at risk if they beat atalanta but got spanked off scouse. Now, they have spuds Atalanta and us so doubt they would sack him prior to the derby as it would be carnage. Fully expect them to beat the trophy dodgers grind out a dull draw in Italy before we rock up. They also have chelsea at the end of the month so no hiding places

One thing about Ole is he knows what a derby means to the fans. He’ll get the rags riled up for it.

I really hope they can keep OGS at the wheel until after the Arsenal match.
After that the Rags have a run of 15 matches that even they will find difficult to mess up (until the Derby in March).
That run will rebuild hope and momentum again and maybe help leave OGS in place for next season?

The worry is the support OGS will need to nurse him until after the Arsenal match.
VAR and the officials will need to step up - that is a concern for the Derby.

First thing he said after the match was something like - "I think we are just about getting to where we want to be now, but...."

Crack on

Stolen from another City page.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer walks into a Bank to cash a cheque. As he approaches the cashier he says, "Good morning, Ms could you please cash this cheque for me?"
Cashier: "It would be my pleasure. Could you please show me your ID?"
Solskjaer: "Truthfully, I did not bring my ID with me as I didn't think there was any need to. I am Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Manager of Manchester United
Cashier: "Yes, I know who you are, but with all the regulations and monitoring of the banks because of impostors and forgers and requirements of the legislation, etc., I must insist on seeing ID."
Solskjaer "Just ask anyone here at the bank who I am and they will tell you. Everybody knows who I am."
Cashier: "I am sorry, Mr Solskjaer but these are the bank rules and I must follow them."
Solskjaer,"Come on please, I am urging you, please cash this cheque."
Cashier: "Look sir, here is an example of what we can do. One day, Tiger Woods came into the bank without ID. To prove he was Tiger Woods he pulled out his putter and made a beautiful shot across the bank into a cup. With that shot we knew him to be Tiger Woods and cashed his cheque."
"Another time, Andre Agassi came in without ID. He pulled out his tennis racket and made a fabulous shot where the tennis ball landed in my cup. With that shot we cashed his cheque. So, sir, what can you do to prove that it is you and only you?"
Solskjaer stands there thinking and thinking and finally says, "Honestly, my mind is a total blank...there is nothing that comes to my mind. I can't think of a single thing. I have absolutely no idea what to do. I don't have a clue."
Cashier: "Perfect. Will that be large or small notes , Mr Solskjaer.

Saw a stat today I was never aware of.

The rags have only ever had three managers to win the title

Was very surprised

Coupled with Peps lack of empathy for the fixture and it could be a disaster.

Of course, we could very well put the final nail in Ole’s coffin

And obviously because it’s a derby anything can happen. We smashed them 4-1 at CoMS when we were shit. Last derby at Maine Road. First derby at CoMS.

Pep wins the ones that matter.
The most important derby last season was the semi final. The home league game was annoying but ultimately short term bragging rights seeing as how we walked the league.
Likewise the season before. We won 2 Carabao Cups, that could have been them.
When we had to beat them in 18/19 in that winning 14 match run at the end we did.
We'll win there this time.

He had a meltdown mate, so hopefully he’s getting help or taking the break from the board he needed. I can’t take the piss out of him if he’s not here to defend himself to be fair.

Haha talking of meltdowns, the rag meltdown continues as vibes coming from the toilet suggest ole has a stay of execution. We just need to be thankful and give praise for every day that he hangs on now, enjoy this while it lasts.

Two decent draws against Atalanta and Spurs should be enough to keep our friend Ole at the Wheel for the derby. In the Glaziers we trust.

Hmm, let's all not get hard ons just yet, I can't remember us beating rags in the league for a long time, that tactic of bus parking and hoofing up to players who can run fast has seen our demise on a few occasions against rags
