Lawro and Degenerate Crackhead predictions Week 4

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Lawro and Degenerate Crackhead predictions Week 4

Postby Wonderwall » Fri Aug 28, 2015 11:35 am

Lawro is becoming increasingly reckless in his predictions, he must be on the balloons since Stirling has quit them! This week has has that RAG Darren Campbell with him. Merson is even more extreme this week, However, a note of caution here, I seem to remember this type of craziness prior to Burnley turning up!

Lawro says

I was at Deepdale on Tuesday to see Preston beat Watford in the League Cup but it is more accurate to call them the Hornets' reserves because there was not a single starting player from last weekend's draw with Southampton.

I am a fan of Watford boss Quique Flores but it is asking a lot for his team to get a fourth draw of the season against Manchester City.

City's present system makes the pitch bigger, stretches play and allows David Silva more room to play in the middle - when that happens, it is a question of 'all the best' to the opposition.

Lawro's prediction: 3-0

Darren's prediction: 3-0

Merson Says

Watford are finding it hard to score. I wondered whether they'd go free-flowing in the Premier League like they were last year in the Championship, or whether they'd go defensively. They went defensively, and don't look like scoring goals.

They won't be able to stop Man City. The only way to stop City is to go out and have a go, and I don't think they will.

Man City will have enough to open them up a few times and I think they'll beat them 4-0. Their performance against Everton was very good, it's a hard place to go and it was a very good result.

PAUL PREDICTS: 4-0

Dammit, I predicted 4-0 as well, so more negative points on the TS.

When Paul says it's a hard place to go, he means because of the hole in the Mancunian Way. I was thinking if going 3-0 in the predictions, but now I've seen these two I'm glad I went for 4-1.

Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

I'm going to go out on a limb and predict Lawro will have us down for a 2-0 win for the next game

I'm not sure I could cope with a 'Predict Lawro's predictions' thread as well as a 'Predict the Match Score' thread.
