you wouldn't last a day working for likes of Daily Mail or others, not up to their standards.

Would've been more appropriate if that had been
City's £600m academy again fails to produce as Cole leaves City for peanuts

or..
City ruin YET ANOTHER English future superstar's career

good luck to the bloke.

I actually don't think the plan from Andy was for his son to stick around at City after he'd finished most of his development.

Can't blame the kid! He's not good enough and probably never will be to make it at City.

Emyr Huws has now joined Jordy Hiwula at Huddersfield Town FC. They are now reunited with Bunn, Miller and Smith, in a City academy-inspired team. So, the City academy has obviously impressed the Huddersfield management enough!

As a Huddersfield man (one of several with Huddersfield connections on our board) I love that our former youngsters are joining Town. It's a decent club with a good history (if you go far enough back) and a fairly modern stadium. And a rail link with Manchester.

I agree and like you, I will also be keeping an eye on Town's progress, since it is former City coach, Steve Eyre, that is helping to hire a lot of these talented City academy graduates. I hope that they have a very successful season. This Examiner article discusses the City connections:

Thought I saw this morning Hiwula was going the other way to Wigan?

You're absolutely right and there's been a straight swap, with Jordy Hiwula now loaned to Wigan & Huws at Town... many thanks for the update...

Indeed, I moved there shortly after the 10-1 and was based in the area for the next 24 years so have a good number of Town supporting friends. I always look for their result and this City link makes me want them to do well even more.

I moved here ten years ago and did plan on watching The Terriers, it just never happened, I've been once and that was with a Wolverhampton supporting friend, in the away end. I like the club thoug, they play in blue and I used to see Terry Yorath on the train to work, and he would always talk football with me. Good man. (Although he was on public transport because of being caught drunk driving)
Good luck to our Town Blues.
City and sniffing knickers.
Come on Blues.
