Sterling looking well up for it so far. Really hope he scores today.

Another one of those "lucky random crosses" from Kolarov that is perfectly placed. I wish as lucky as Kolarov is with his crossing considering he's not aiming. In something else in my life that is. I don't need to be lucky with crossing.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

NBC are showing 3pm Saturday kickoff's in the US. I think BeIN do something similar as well.

NBCS showing scouse hammers game, don't have access to BeIN.

Thanks though

Best thing to do is check the foreign broadcasters page on City's site before the game. Apparently it's NBC SN, which I thought was the same thing but seemingly isn't.

Don't get the Navas love in, he's so wasteful.

Hard to break through when they're playing 5-5 formation. Will it have to come from a set piece or perhaps they tire as the game goes on. They can't counter really with this formation.

Navas is one half of what makes Dave tick in the centre with Sterling being the other half. Just as a decoy with a threat of pace he has value. Not to mention he works hard defensively which Pellegrini's system relies on.

Navas has his qualities, but his downsides are what may be keeping us from scoring. Sterling has shown his differing value in the few times he has had a chance.

Navas is definitely the weak link when teams setup like this.

someone needs to have a shot from the edge of the box. a Yaya rocket looks like the only option right now.

Would be nice to hear some encouragement. We seem to get frustrated quite easily. Guess it's reminding us of last season.

I understand that but with the ball he's bad. The shot was laughable for someone at this level.

Scoring how many?

You said you didn't get the love in - the love in isn't related to his ability (or lack of it) to shoot.

Chances created first three games:

Silva: 9
Toure: 7
Kolarov: 7
Navas: 7
Agüero: 4
Sagna: 3
Sterling: 3

It's not even his shooting. His crosses, passes, choices are also bad.

If people are going to love a guy for running up and down the line and making space for someone else fair enough.
