Sterlings best game for is so far, but sagna got my vote. Put the goal on a platter and made some excellent blocks and intercepts. Cannot honestly beleive we are not missing zaba so far.
Tracking back is overrated.

Went for Fernandinho. He's looking more and more like, and perhaps even more than, like he did when he first arrived here. Fantastic enginge, great at reading the game and what a shot he has on him.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

Fern for me. Sterling grew in confidence after his goal. Yaya was great .Silva....well he's just Silva. Good second half.

Fernandinho's form is excellent at the moment.

I went for Sagna.

Fantastic defending, one excellent goal bound shot bocked and a beautiful cross for Sterling.

Fernie.

He is indispensable to our system right now.

Agreed. Unrecognizable (in both senses) to last season.

I'm having a tough time deciding who.

Much of the game I kept blurting out Sagna's name for his positive defensive plays, and the cross for Sterling's goal was perfect. Fernandinho brilliant again as well (remember when we bought him and all of those that doubted the signing....very well done Txiki), and is clearly benefiting from being rested to start this season.

But I think without Sterling we may have not broken the deadlock, as Watford were happy to play 5-5 formation and leave the Etihad 0-0. He is the difference maker that we needed, and he's clearly not the finished product, so I'm going with Radio Raheem.

Navas was trying too hard and Silva was off his best form. Sagna did very well and Sterling was excellent but I gave the nod to Fernandinho. Immense in all four games.

Third week in a row where it's hard to choose, which must be a good sign. I went for Sagna in the end, I really enjoyed that tackle near the end, as an ex-fullback myself!

I would have Fernandinho, Sagna and Sterling share the MOTM, along with Nasri, who helped to unlock Watford and the goals, as soon as he was subbed on.

Nasri is wank, and didn't assist in any of the goals.

How could you have missed the fact, that the whole team looked immediately more threatening and effective, after Nasri replaced Navas? Within the first few minutes after the 2nd half restart and the changed formation, Sterling was able to score. Nasri had a great shot on target, blocked by Gomes and although there were no direct assists for him, he helped to unlock Watford, along with all the rest of the team.
