What i like about this situation is that Palace are clearly confident, they are undoubtedly playing well. So we know going into this game, we have to be at the top of our game. Fully concentrated, if we want to get anything out of it.

We can pick them off on the counter attack, or just take the game by the scruff of the neck like we have been doing so far anyway.

Living in Swansea I can tell you that the natives are confident of winning this. Come on you Swans !! An almost perfect weekend looms.

To those cunts harping on about "one game at a time" with your +1 and +2 etc.

Eat me out.

It's a thread about the FACT that it's August and we're 8 points ahead of the club that were favourites 3 weeks ago.

Enjoy it.
For what it is.

You sad cunts.

Apologies OD. I started the downer. I'm loving this as much as anyone. Just the talk of open top buses in August set me off.

Indeed , only 28 more points to get to avoid relegation ! Should be sorted by November and we can go into christmas relaxed !

I don't wish to jinx the next match, but City has a goal difference of +10 and Crystal Palace has a goal difference of +3. City hasn't conceded a goal in the PL yet... Crystal Palace has.

If there is anything that City has learned from the 2011-2012 title winner & the CL group stage, it is that the goal difference can be just as important as the total points accrued.

While I would be delighted if the rags lose, it might be better if they draw and thus think they don't need to try to buy anyone good in the next few days (although they would be SNUBBED anyway).

Sod that, let them lose, panic, then get snubbed by average players.
