Uefa have confirmed that they are going to continue to pay Platini indefinitely, even though he is banned from football for 8 years?

Are they serious. This is a piss take of the highest order.

Corruption in the 1st degree.

Ahh I see nothing has changed then. They've basically just admitted they're still bent.

Good work if you can get it! Utter piss take of millions of fans across Europe. Assume Platini is taking the money? No sense of shame it would seem

Yes, they refuse to say the amount as uefa salaries are confidential.

I cannot understand how this is allowed to happen. The FA should decide to make a stand and tell the whole lot to fuck off until it's cleared up and the investigation is complete. No champions league. No Europa league, no England national team competing. Force the issue. We have the power now more than ever.

I know there are negatives to this. But where does it stop?

They haven't got the stones to do it as if the other official leagues don't bow out they will look like idiots and will miss out on the CL. It would only work if they got the backing of say La Liga and Bundesliga too. Take 3 of the biggest revenue earners out and the CL and Europa would be about as important as the Russian league.

Blatter and Platini have failed in their appeals, but had them reduced to 6 years instead of 8 due to 'mitigating factors'. (Probably doesn't make any difference as far as Blatter is concerned due to his age but it might mean a return for Platini - hopefully not).

So, like barcelona, they can buy players and just not register them?

I'm assuming it will be the same punishment - a ban on registration. Both clubs are appealing the decision.

Which means 'Get your transfers in early but if you need to appeal again we'll let you have another window, just in case'.

I just wish that the chaps at FIFA get to work on this as quickly as possible.

They make me sick. The basic theory of Platini's defence is 'you can't do that to me'. Arrogant twat. No mention as far as I know of why he trousered over a million quid with no excuse or paperwork. These people get to believe they can do no wrong, They see the corrupt culture as their right and just cannot conceive that anyone would dare pull them up on it.

The sooner someone finds something on that smarmy cunt Infantino the better. Why are we queuing up to support him? Why declare at all? Why did Dyke insist on backing Platini, who everyone knew was dodgy not least because of the France/Qatar/PSG links?

I'd lock up the lot.

Whilst he's almost certainly a crook, the FA will look at it that he is a European crook and better the devil you know.

Infantino, for those who don't know was born in Switzerland around the time Horst Dassler was stitching FIFA up with Havelange and starting the big gravy train. Having been a football administrator for all his life and having grown up and forged a career in the same country that all the leeching thieving cunts based themselves, it's almost inconceivable that he's not also got his nose in the trough.

Apparently, Tokyo Sexwale made a humorous and dramatic exit to the race. Mind you with a name like Tokyo, it is no surprise that he shows such wit, intelligence, charm, charisma, sophistication and geniality.

Very close to Platini. There wasn't a good choice; this certainly isn't.

Infantino's been elected head of FIFA, not UEFA. He took over UEFA when Platini was suspended.

Correct. The same people who have been scamming the system have now voted for their man. Think about it, all the stuff that is still sloshing around about the lot of them needs to be looked after somehow. Having an outsider in there would open a huge can of worms for the majority. So, the majority vote their man.

It was interesting to hear the Palestinian rep tell us why he abstained from voting the new reforms in. He stated that he couldn't vote as nothing has actually changed and it's the same people trying to reform 'their' system. So how can it change?

Sounds like he should be up for election, not these bent twats.
