Trying to stop a counter. Advantage was given. It happened at least a minute before the card was given.

Kicking out at the Bournemouth lad, King I think. I think it was the right decision myself. The Sane one just now however is complete fucking fabrication.

Decent referee, blind linesmen.

Why the yellow for sterling though. He didn't touch him. So we are now in a phase where an attempted foul is a yellow?

I agree that it was a yellow if he fouled him but he didn't touch him.

A cynical man might say he booked Sterling so as to give himself a chance to give him a second yellow for an "attempted dive" later on in the match

We've been in that phase for a while now mate.

Except v swansea the other day when sterling was booked for getting out of the way.

Sterling has three yellows in the last three games I think.

Another nasty player in the dirtiest side in the premier league

Raheem tripped the defender off the ball (on a break) so was rightly carded. Some of the others were questionable though. Yaya on 9 mins had me scratching my head.

This is what I mentioned in one thread or another. It's not just the big offside or penalty decisions that bug me.
By and large I thought they were called right tonight, although I'd love another look at the the second Sane penalty shout.
The one he got a free for, just outside the box. It looked very close to me.

I think we pick up fat too many dodgey yellows and reds. This is something that can bite us further down the road, when we have bigger fish to fry.

no he didn't call it right tonight, but Bournemouth are not a dirty team. He had no need to book sane or sterling, even Yayas was debatable- first foul and all as Clattercnut showed on Saturday "You've already fouled three times , next time is a booking" clearly to be lip read. The team ?

It's gonna be a rerun of the Chelsea game a few months ago. I still haven't got over his performance that day. Twat

Best ref performance I've seen in a while in a city match. Let the game flow and the bookings for sterling and sane were bang on. First glance I was calling him a cunt, when I saw the replays I couldn't help but shut the fuck up and say fair enough. Personally I thought swarbick was excellent tonight.

Missed a pen on sane mind but I'll let that go.

Now we're starting to click again up steps uber-cheating-cunt anthony taylor. We'll have injured players and sendings-off galore by the end of the game so I'd put the kids out. Utter fucking disgrace again from the cheating cunts at the FA. Cunts.

Yep, tonight's ref had a top game. Makes for a refreshing change. I bet we don't get him again for a while.

Thought the ref did really well on their disallowed goal.

He didn't see the foul so it's an odd one.

Anyway, don't be praising them for getting things right- that's what they're paid to do!
