Yet, I agree, the patience is not going to be the same as last season with what is available out there and where the expectations are for this, and players brought in.
I agree, and I hope this is how it pans out.Beefymcfc wrote:Win in Germany and the pressure is off, unless he manages to totally screw up in October where we have all but one game at home.
There are extenuating circumstances, losing so many of our players, at inopportune times, which has an affect in our play. Today shown what injuries can do and the loss of Joe Hart, and Yaya mid-game, compounded the problem.
Managers are always under pressure but I think if the injuries come good, by the end of next month, the pressure won't be so great.
It's still early, the season has only just begun.

However I think there is much more emphasis being put on us evolving in the Champions League this season, than last, and making the last16. I would not be surprised in the least, if we lost in Germany next week and Pellegrini was sacked so early in the season for an upgrade to Ancelloti, or Klopp if one was available. With Liverpool circling for an upgrade. Our owners have different expectations to us fans, We would all fuck the Champions League today For Premiership success. But our owners prefer the glamour and exposure of rubbing shoulders with Europe elite.

yes really. domestic stuff is one thing but the brass and the owner want European success. if we lose our first 2 CL games in this group its going to be very hard to progress. notice, however, that i didn't say that he should be sacked or that he will be.
