What's wrong with Aguero?

Does not look himself and hasn't done all season. Lethargic, not at full pace, poor decision making, wayward shooting, drifting in and out of games are just some of the traits he's shown this season.

One thing before I carry on, I love Aguero as I think we all do, but he has been poor for a little while. I sincerely hope this is a short term blip that a good game with a couple of goals will start to resolve. However, I am not convinced that is the case. It's almost as if he has lost his spark or 'raison d'être'. Maybe he is missing his son. Maybe he is ready for a new challenge. Maybe he is carrying a knock but has to play as we have little cover. Maybe he has been tapped up by Barca/Real and is biding his time, (I really really hope not but after KDB confirmed he had decided ages ago to join us, its not beyond the realm of possibility).

Whatever is on his mind is causing problems on the field and it needs to be resolved and fast. I think a spell on the sidelines would do him good but we are now getting in a position where there is no alternative but for him to play. Once Silva is back, that will alleviate a number of issues but this isn't a short term fix I fear.

Is it worth switching to 4-6-0 again as we have KDB, Sterling, Silva, Nasri, Roberts, Yaya to interlink in midfield and attack. It did work last season and there's no reason it can't work again. Bony can't be long from fitness either.

Please, Kun, come back stronger from the place you are in at the moment

The only thing that irritates me with Aguero is when he doesn't get his head up and look at City players that are in better positions than him! I realise he's out of form and desperately wants to score but FFS stop being a greedy twat and running in to about 5 opposition players when there's other City players free.

I think our lack of clinicality (is that a word) infront of goal is our big problem at the moment.
We have a team that is always capable of creating chances, no matter who we have on the field, but we are not converting enough and putting teams away.
We have lost games that we have dominated.
Today we fell apart second half. But we could have been 2 or 3 up.

I don't think there is a great deal wrong but top of the priority list has to be getting Aguero's mojo back.
No use converting one chance in 26 per game. The defense will be fine when everyone is fit. We have to start scoring more.

I've noticed that without Dave, Aguero seems to have 5 men around him when he gets the ball but instead of laying it off and creating more space he tries to dribble through the wall.

Is that Sergio's fault or just that he's not getting the support with only him upfront?

I thought that after scoring after nine minutes against the rank shite that was Sunderland the other night, that would have been Aguero's platform to kick on. It hasn't been. He is the best forward in the premier league over the last four years, yet looks like Samaras at the moment.
