nice to see the bbc raiding their archives for some positive match facts:

Borussia Monchengladbach knocked out Manchester City in their only previous European encounter. It was in the 1978-79 Uefa Cup quarter-finals and Gladbach went on to win the trophy later that season.
•No English club has ever beaten Gladbach in the German team's own stadium. They have won their last four home games against English teams in European competition.
•Gladbach have scored in each of their last 15 home games in European competition. The last time they didn't hit the net was in September 1987 against Espanyol.
•Manchester City have been drawn with a German side in each of their five Champions League group stage campaigns.
•City have lost three of their four trips to Germany in the Champions League.
•City have lost seven of their last 11 Champions League games.

hopefully our patched up troops will find their early season form and teach these german cunts a right fucking lesson. we owe europe a show. hopefully, we'll see it this evening.

come on city - fuck these cunts up!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We must win this one. Yap they are german team i will not be easy , but we have beer players and if they go 90 % they will win
You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

I'd rather they stayed off the beer and went at it 100%.

All a bit Freudian eh?

Thought most of our better players are injured so we'll need the beer players?!

In fairness to City Revenge he's stuck around on the website since Edin left the Club despite predictions to the contrary. Good on you mate. I think we can put up with a few malapropisms. My Bosnian's not great either.

We're going to have a much stronger side out tonight than them. My prediction is we put on one of our rare better performances in the CL and get the win we absolutely need.

We might need them at the rate we're going. Just had a phone call that the tickets are arriving in 10 minutes.

Game on!

Whoo hoo, the big man's just had the tickets delivered and Plan A is back on. Just realised it's a 2045 KO for UK TV.

It's gonna be a messy one ;-)

Make sure you get there at least half an hour before kick off, apparently anyone arriving later than 8.15pm ( local time ) won't get in until at least half an hour after ko, if at all.

Cheers buddy, didn't know that. In the Best Western, about 4k from the stadium so was gonna do Gladbach first and then bus to stadium, only in time for KO though so we could get a few more beers in.

Looks like I'll need my hip flask ;-)

Sterling need to sep up also , KDB is doing ok for me , and please give me Zabba back and Silva

Well, we all know this is a must win game & despite our injury woes i feel relatively confident of a result, especially as they have a caretaker manager (who's experience is somewhat limited) & they are also without their captain.

Hopefully Sergio will make 15 goals in 15 CL starts, we go on to take the 3 points and Juve draw with Seville.

God i hate CL.....

We underestimate this tie at our peril. I'd take a draw right now. We have to play a different game to that in domestic football and i am not sure we have the personnel for that with our injuries. A defeat and we are out realistically.
