Been confirmed. BFS is back, just a shame it's not down the East Lancs Road!

Sunderland have a fighting chance now. Nolan will undoubtedly sign and he's an experienced head for a relegation scrap

I think he's got himself a good fit there - expectation is to stay a premier league team and he'll manage that expectation well, as he is known to do

I'm not sure they're saveable. Might not seem such a savior after this season is my gut feeling!

He would love to keep them up at the expense of Newcastle. In fact I might put a bet on it.

Look at Bolton and Newcastle, for fans who would love to have him back. Not his biggest fan, but he has done amazing work, and was great for telling Maureen to SFU. Sunderland should be a great fit and also a top away game as they have it all accept a team.

Isn't that more to do with the managers they've had since in the case of Newcastle? Would West Ham fans have him back?

Yes, if they were where they were when he first took over.

The problem with some fans is that they become 'Istreeee Snobs. Take the Hammers, all we heard was that they played a certain way and BFS wasn't up to it. The 'Rag Way', the 'Dipper Way' et al is just bollox and the time that it isn't that way is airbrushed from their 'Istreeee.

Personally I wouldn't give a fuck how City played as long as it ends up in a win, or at least not a loss.

Some of these 'Istreeee fuckers don't know they're born, not being out of the top 10 of English football for decades. Fuck, I'd love to see one of them drop down a league or go through a 'Pearce' season, they'd be in serious meltdown, the fuckers.

They wouldn't though would they Beefster. West Ham fans wouldn't have him back NOW. And if you offered Newcastle fans Pardew or Fat Sam back I know who they would pick.

Would you be happy if City signed Shrek and had Jose as manager? As long as we won?

And that's when I said 'Back then'. It's horses for courses and in that situation, as we've been, then he's the perfect fit. Would I want him as the City manager, would I 'eckers like, not at where we are now, but if things went real Pete Tong then it's be an option.

As for Wiggy and Eye Gouger, fucking never you dirt bastard!

;-)

Fans of Bolton would do anything for what they had, same with the Curbishley has taken us as far as he will, Charlton fans must think WTF was we thinking. Fat Sam gets jobs coz he knows his eggs.

He also gets paid handsomely for it. I think there was a bit of uproar when it was leaked that BFS was on around 5 mil a season but when you take that into comprison of clubs falling out of/not getting in to the PL then you can understand how he can command huge fees.

Now, any team in the PL is looking at a minimum of 60 mil just from the Sky/PL deal alone, spending 5 mil to ensure you get that is small feed, and that's before matchday revenue, sponsorship etc.

Yep, look at Burnley pocketing 120 mill and spending a few quid.Dyche he has done a great job like Sam in a different way. Bolton are a mess since they and BFS saw things different that work by the likes of Dyche now is never seen or appreciated, high profile Harry is a darling of the media but we know he is a cunt. Charlton wanted a new direction they got it in spades downwards and broke. What we have is unlimited funds to buy and pay wages, samm had wages and out of contract stars. Never be done again that.

Everything we do in terms of signings and wages is limited - we're in a place where we are a major player now which is the difference. We also have the right people in key positions (off the pitch) to keep us as a major player.
