I can't wait for the day he returns. What a reception he'll get.

Legend of City without doubt after ending our trophy drought and winning us the title.

Just noticed that they're playing Juve tonight and could go top of the league.

Edit: whoops, should've read thread properly!

Amazing, Jovetic said before the game:

I learned what it means to play for a big club at City, now I will learn how to win trophies at Inter.

He didn't do it for us but at least he won trophies. As they say, he goes again.

Sounds a cracking game, pity it's not on television.

Mancini was asked what's happening at Chelsea ... he said exactly what's happening at Juve ... they've had a bad start, but they will come up ... then asked "Will they win the title" and his exact words were ...

"No ... [slight pause] ... we will win the title, Manchester City will win the title"

Gotta love the guy, he still refers to us as "We"

Slightly off topic:

F.C. Internazionale Milano will be getting a new sponsor. They're set to sign a €125 million Etihad Airways contract for 5 years.

€125m for a league that gets, say, 30% as much media coverage as the premier league?? hmmmmmm.....

Mancini's excellent interview was perfectly timed for both the Manchester derby & the Derby d'Italia... I only wish that Jovetic could have won the match for Roberto, though.
I'm not sure how the BBC managed to find such a rare photo of Mourinho, with his arm around Mancini... I'd swear it looks photoshopped!:
http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/34539462

I also liked this summary of Samuel Luckhurst's article for MEN, that quotes Fergie's latest fantasies... Fergie has now claimed that City won the 1-6 derby, because of Mancini's defence tactics!
"Former Man Utd manager has a deluded excuse for his side's defeat to Man City in the decisive 2012 Manchester derby."

Taggart actually said in his book that they were the better team, the score was irrelevant.

Wish I could copy that pic of Mancini's cheesy grin at the Swamp, that image warms the cockles of my heart.

And that gif of Mancini giving it the Piss Can at ours, truly legendary qualities that will never be forgotten.

I thought it was the 1-0 at the Etihad he said we won because of our defensive approach, you know the one where he changed his formation to try and get a draw an they never even bothered trying for the win that would have virtually guaranteed them the title.

Fucking great day that. We were so dominant that day I didn't even worry about conceding! The singing kept going well into half time too

I should watch a replay of that game one day
