Nice and early this week as I've got to get the Mrs into town and back before the games start. Ensure you do the same as the international break comes around again, leaving us with a week of numbness having to either watch endless meaningless friendlies or having to do those DiY jobs that we've put off for a rainy day.
Anyway, back to football. What are your thoughts on this weeks fixtures as I haven't got a clue on the outcome of the majority of games. Games get under way with 2 teams who have really struggled so far. Although all the talk seem to be of the heroics of the promoted team and their young manager, they've not really set the world alight, similar to the 'Brollied One' with his Toon. The only thing I find interesting in this game is that we beat both of them recently with 5 goals or more and their total of 11 points between them in 12 games goes to show how poor they are.

Then onto the 3 o'clocks with my favoured game being The Foxes v The Hornets. Watford, who have won their last 2 (away at Stoke and home to West Ham), take on a high flying Leicester, who seem to be masters for coming back from behind. Leicester have only lost one game all season and the Tinkerman could find himself sat on joint points at the top of the Prem come the final whistle today; excellent for them if it happens.
As for the rest of todays games, as I've said, I have no idea which way they will go. Rags v Brom looks a real bore-fest, while Hammers v Toffees could be either a goal-fest or a real game of tactics. Norwich v Swansea should be an open one and can the Saints continue their recent good form against a BlackCats team that have at least now won a game under BFS.
To finish off the day we get a replay of the last round of cup games where the Stokies beat Maureen, who, by the way, will be finding ingenious ways of getting into the stadium or sending coded messages from a local pub in Hanley. Can the Chavs get back in the seat after consecutive losses or will Lesley get back to winning ways after a loss and a draw. I reckon the money is on a draw but you never know, this game might just surprise us.
And onto Super Sunday. Kicking off with our game the only thing I need to say, as they'll be loads in other threads, is that we should be going there full of confidence and coming away with nothing more than a well earned 3 points.

As for the Arse v Spuds, I bet we're all hoping for a Spurs win but from recollection I can't remember them winning away at the Library for many a year. However, with Wenger's injury list growing by the kick of a ball, Spurs may just get their chance to actually put some pressure on their North London neighbours and maybe jump above the Rags, which would be ...... nice.
But what will you watch? With the Dippers on a run of 1 win in the league since JK took over the draw of this game maybe just too much for some. Palace, who seem to be on the slide after a great opening, will be hoping that Gale will be slotting them home again, just as he did back when the Dippers won, then lost the league. Will they 'Unleash the Crowd', will Pardew lose his rag against a manager who would probably eat him for breakfast, or will we just see 2 high tempo teams going for it from the off. Either way, I'll be flicking the channels in the hope that the final games of the weekend give me enough entertainment to sustain me through the long, bleak international break.
