That backheel thing

Am I the only one that thinks KDB needs kicking in the bollocks repeatedly, for that miss? Would have won us the game if he just fucking kicked the ball, but decides to attempt one of those fancy stepover flicky things and ends up fucking up. Put his ego before the team there.

Reminded me of when Balo got hauled off by Mancini in America. Except that was a pointless friendly.

I'm not so sure it was an ego thing. There was definitely space behind him and had it come off it was a definite goal. Only he will know whether he felt more confident doing that than smashing it with his right foot given the ball was slightly behind him. Chances are he would have skied it over the bar or wide I reckon from the shape and position of his body relative to the ball.

I don't have much of a problem with it to be honest

just one of many plays yesterday that resulted in no goal.

i was more angry with Bony not being on the end of Kolas cross in the early minutes.

A very poor miss, regardless of how he tried to put it in.

I have to ask Zuri, do you feel the same anger toward Aguero when he continuously fails to attack the near post?

You bet i do !

Kun isn't above critisism. In recent seasons, it seems that only Edin has this in his game.

Furthermore Edin like KdB can shoot with both feet
which Kun,Raheem and Wilfried clearly cannot do.

you'd be hardpressed to bitch about Kun's right foot when it does what it does, when it does it. When it doesn't do it, fair fucks. Let 'er rip my friend. Esss normull to complain about every striker in the world because they need 4 or 5 shots to create a goal.

cheers

It was bollocks.

Complete rubbish.

Kun would have put his right boot through it and watched it nestle in the corner.

I want to put a fact.

Indeed he did . At least KdB was where he should be when the ball was played to him, even if it was played behind him. My annoyance with Bony is that
when he can see Kola busting a gut ( however slowly he runs ) and sees that Kola is fed the ball nicely by Raheem. That he, our recognised Striker, even if ( and i want to make that perfectly clear :-) ), he is alone up front, should be in or around the six yard box, not ambling in behind the action. Expecting the ball to come to him, even if it doesn't.

You might get the impression the Bony isn't as fit as he might be.

Yaya Toure accuses Man City team-mate of lacking respect for his profession
Posted by Rob Parker - November 8, 2015 - Africa, All News, Manchester City

Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has questioned the lifestyle of team-mate Wilfried Bony and suggested the striker lacks respect for his profession.

Toure indicated he believes that fellow Ivory Coast international Bony’s lifestyle does not maximise his chances of filling his potential as a footballer.

The 32-year-old also took aim at Bournemouth’s Max Gradel, another compatriot, as another player he wanted to see become more ambitious.

He claimed Bony and Gradel are not respected at the moment.

According to The Sun on Sunday, he said: “I want to give my fellow African players a shake to get them to be more ambitious, so they can achieve their dreams.

“I’m talking about Wilfried Bony and Max Gradel at Bournemouth. They are my fellow countrymen and they have huge potential.

“But potential must be nurtured every day. It’s down to them to pay attention to their lifestyles.

“If they want to be respected one day, it is down to them to first respect their profession.”

Bony, aged 26, joined City from Swansea in January in a £28m deal. He has scored six goals in 25 games for Manuel Pellegrini’s side to date, whereas he managed a goal nearly every other game during his time at the Liberty Stadium.

Gradel, aged 27, arrived at the Cherries from Saint-Etienne in the summer transfer window, but suffered a serious knee injury just four games into his Premier League career and is currently sidelined.

I seem to remember the ball being drilled into him at pace (if it's the incident I'm thinking of) - I don't think he had any time to plan anything so just tried to adlib getting the ball heading towards the goal.
