I'm quite looking forward to this. If they play Klopps style at our gaff we could seriously smash them off the park. If we don't get too many injuries and if Pellers doesn't bottle the tactics and or substitutions and if those who are selected actually turn up.
I'd like to see the 2 ferns with Yaya pushed forward, then Sergio, Jesus and Kev working these cunts over. I'd keep Merlin in the bench to start and bring him on if Yaya is on an off day. If they press us they'll be fooked after an hour and our attack will be like a hot knife through butter.

Even if Aguero and Silva are both fit, I don't see Pellers throwing them in from the off ... Silva more likely if at all he does start one of them but Sergio? No chance!
Ideally I'd leave Yaya off to the bench against Klopp's pressing philosophy and have the two Ferns in front of back four and the Fab Four (if Silva starts) up front.
Hart
Sagna - Komps (hope he gets back ok) - Otter - Kola
Ferns 1 & 2
KdB - Silva - Sterling
Aguero
That's the ideal scenario but as I said I don't see Silva and Aguero both starting from off, so we might see Sterling or KdB again as makeshift striker. Unless Bony recovers ... no chance for Nachoman to start unfortunately (not my wish, just projecting Peller's style).
Nasri could be another one coming back and might get slotted in for this one if Silva starts on bench.
PS. Fucking hate these FIBs

It will be a fitness race, to see which players are available for this match, against Liverpool.
Kompany was unable to train with the Belgium team, during their first training session.
Bony's hamstring injury has forced him out of the first match for the Ivory Coast team.
As for Liverpool, Milner is injured & had to pull out of the England matches... So, he may not be available to play against City. Sturridge will not be back in time, either.
Let's hope that all the City players are recovered in time, to give Pellegrini a full selection question.

I can see our diving boy being mentally ill prepared for this one. Hope I'm wrong and he plays like he did in Seville. Sterlkng could be something special here.
KDB has been very hit and miss the last few games after an amazing start, was anonymous in the derby so I hope he steps up for this one.
Yaya see above.
If silva and Aguero are fit they play for me. Aguero from the off silva if needed.

Actually, i hope we bench Stirling until we are 5 up at half time. That way the scouse fans will have left for the east lancs rd and not there to boo him .

Considering bringing Delph on seemed to liven up villa Id persinally rather we let em get it out early. If it's affecting him we can sub him. Subbing a sub however brings me back a horrible memory. Poor Robinho

No, I say keep Sterling well away. The scene is set for him completely folding or being shown 2 yellows for being unable to stay on his feet. He will need rhino skin even at our place and I haven't seen that he has that.

Oh do fuck off with that shit, plenty of our players have been guilty of going down easy trying to buy frees over the years and didn't get the shit for it that you're giving Sterling. Only last season good honest pro Milner was given a yellow for diving. Aguero was booked for diving against I think it was Swansea last season. I recall Silva getting stick from non-City fans for a dive against Chelsea a couple of years back. Yaya is often guilty of it, Nasri too, Micah, I could go on.
He needs to rein it in but quit singling him out.

If Delph does well in the England friendlies I can imagine us using his high energy against Liverpool.

I agree MP will likely start Stirling if fit. Obviously the scousers will be abusing him but our fans will be giving the "top of the league" response. We can't be picking our side because of the away fans at home. I'm sure the atmosphere will be intense regardless of Sterling playing.

Cant see why Sterling wont paly, he has to play them sooner or later, might as well be now rather than the away game. He will and should start if fit.
Silva back would be a big bonus, we have missed him, we always do.
KDB has bee indifferent recently and needs a good performance.
We will have to wait and see on Sergio.

Navas has been the better player lately for me and should start ahead of sterling. He is still only 20 and the abuse waiting for him is going to be very ugly. I would keep him on the bench and only bring him on if we need to. Protect him from the vile abuse of the "best fans in the world". He will get the abuse at anfield whenever he plays there over the next decade. Such is their lack of ability to let go of any history, good or bad.

How does no sound?
I've been on this board for years and I've honestly never seen so many people condone diving. Never. Not saying nobody has ever done it but nobody has ever done it regularly and been stuck up for.
Now if you read the rest of the thread you'll see I want him to start.
I think hes genuinely outperformed my expectations and he's bloody exciting to watch. I think the shit he got off scousers was uncalled for and I honestly think he's on his way to becoming a top player here. I just want to do it the right way. Nothing wrong with that.

Ok so you keep referring to him as "diving boy" if that's what makes you happy. I personally think it's pathetic of you.
I have never condoned diving btw.
