Axel Witsel

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Axel Witsel

http://thefootballnewsnetwork.ie/russia ... ster-city/

I am not sure how much weight this story has as I don't know the website or the source, but when I was asked by a friend (Liverpool supporter, urgh) who I'd sign last Summer, I blurted out Witsel as I rate this guy so highly and at the time we hadn't signed Delph and Fernando was playing like a overflowing bag of shite. Maybe he had malaria too, cause he's playing really well this season.

However, Witsel I think is still a step up on both and alongside Fernandinho it would be the most energetic midfield you'd have ever seen. Also Belgian, so he'd feel right at home being flanked by De Bruyne and Hazard(next summer).

Sell Fernando, keep Delph until he fucks off to Sunderland because he didn't get enough game time.

Witsel may well be a realistic target, but Hazard? No thank you. KDB and Sterling will do for me. Let him him go to Madrid. I would be surprised if he was still at Chelsea next year, but I would be equally surprised if he was still in England

We will not make any transfer until next summer after we will win the league and have a dreadful transfer campaing.

I will stick with Fernando, he is class.

Yaya and Dinho are starting to get on a bit, this would be a great signing long term

Oh FFS.

You know he never said "I think he'll sign for..." He fucking said we'd already signed him.

Why we'd want to sign someone who kept his daughter in a dungeon in his garden for 20 years I don't know.
