Reports coming out of Spain, now gathering momentum that Guardiola really is set to become our manager next season. I know there has been plenty of speculation before. This seems different though, just a gut feeling.
I for one am buzzing with this great news.
If this news is not good enough, there is also talk of Messi reuniting with Guardiola at City next season. Upset with what he perceives is Barcelona preferential treatment of Neymar. I realize that it could all be bollocks still it is nice to hear "City", "Guadiola","Messi", all in one sentence after a shit couple of weeks we have had.
Apologies if there is already another thread.
A few sources for both stories enjoy :-)

If it happens I might get excited, but there are areas other than attack where we need to strengthen. Messi and Guardiola alone are not the golden egg. What Messi would bring is massive global appeal and commercial uplift.

I've heard Ronaldo too. And Maradona is coming out of retirement to play in nets for us.

Really? Well I can't see any truth in this considering City have spent millions engineering Pele's DNA and have cloned him. Smoke screen maybe?

Maybe. Hopefully we'll pay somebody ten billion pound-an-hour in the not-too-distant future. Looking forward to that.

Not so long ago, Bayern and KHR were saying Pep had an improved contract extension on the table and he would sign in November.
Well it's the 27th Nov today and no sign of him signing yet. So fingers crossed. Messi would be awesome too but I can't see him leaving barca.
I don't want Ronaldo either. But if Messi could bring that cannibal with him to play up front with him and Sergio. ... OMFG haha. Stuff of wet dreams.

I have just read the quotes from KHR saying there will be a decision in 2015 and that he is sitting down with Pep after the Hannover game on 19th Dec.
He also states that no one is irreplaceable. Good players come and go and it's the same for coaches. Hmmmmm sounds like he is setting his stall out. One can only hope.

Would love for us to screw Bayern over by getting Pep. Can't stand the arrogance from all involved with that club.

Guardiola, yes.
Messi, no.
I don't us to be in the middle when they find out he was friends with Lance Armstrong's doctor.

It's well known that Messi has smashed in the HGH and nothing has been done about it.

A genuine phase 3, if it was to happen. Pep would be the man to take City to where the owner wants. Loved Bobby and Pellers, but a massive statement.

I am happy with that but lets get behind Pellegrini for the rest of the season even if you don't rate him.

I couldn't agree more, but it does seem a bit difficult for some folk.
Which is fucking bizarre seeing as they were able to get behind stuart bloody pearce.

I think fans are perfectly entitled to offer an opinion on Pellers, especially when he makes an alright fuck up with team selection. That's what this place is for. No one is booing him at the match.
