Mixed Team News for tomorrow

Pellegrini has revealed who is available for City tomorrow.
Aguero out of Stoke game, Mangala suspended, Zabaleta and Kompany a couple of weeks from a return.
Hart is fit and in the CIty squad, but Toure is out injured.
“Aguero still feels pain in his heel so it’s not easy for him to work. I hope he will be back on Tuesday.”
So that leaves a back pair of MDM & Ottamendi, thankfully Stoke look like they can do much damage and will probably attempt to park the team bus....

“Joe worked yesterday and today without any problems so he’s in the squad list. Jesus and Fernando are both fine too.”

looking forward to seeing the 8 ball midfield in action tomorrow.
ian nacho to start up top.

Such a shame that Aguero is made out of glass. Near impossible to keep the bloke fit.

How long is Yaya out for? I was under the impression Fernando is injured too?

You and most City fans but I just don't see Pellers having the bottle for that. We might have to hold out till he comes on.

It's not just about having the bottle, is it? If Bony was to be dropped in favour of the kid then it could have an adverse effect, Bony could throw in the towel like Dzeko did last season which will effectively leave us a striker short for the remainder of the season. Keeping Iheanacho humble could also factor into his thinking, he's nurtured the likes of Cazorla and Isco in the past so I trust he knows what he's doing.

I think he does know what he is doing but the idea that Bony might throw the towel in I just don't buy. At times he already looks like he has thrown the towel in so he can't get much worse. That's a bit hars I know and I have some time for Bony but I am looking at the current situation only and we need 3 points and imo Bony up front isn't the best way to get them.
Having said that if we defend well the the top 4 players get it right we will win anyway.

I don't think you are far from the mark there. This is the sort of game Navas usually is selected for though, but I can't see either KDB or Silva missing out.

I too find myself relieved Yaya is out. There would be such a fuss if he was dropped. Silva will just slot in there

And I'd fancy that team to win.
Nacho to get another 20-25 minutes.......
and score again.

Can't see all three of our available centre mids starting, probably Sterling or Navas instead of Fernando.

Without a doubt he will.
Possibly the best choice to start with but he has one of his usual games he should get hooked PDQ>
We'll see...
