A Ship In Full Sail.

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

A Ship In Full Sail.

Is the e-mail I've just had from the club, teasing a reveal of the new badge at the City vs Sunderland game on Boxing Day.

Predictions folks?

I would love it to be the blue & silver one I've seen knocking about.
Tick tock tick tock.

I got 3 rivers flowing and came straight on here to ask the same question.

If they release a new badge on boxing day everything that was bought over Christmas as gifts will be out of date. It will be a PR disaster

Wasn't the intention to release a badges or badges for comment from the fans? Can't imagine it'll appear on anything until the new Puma kit in summer

So, we know the 3 rivers and the ship have made the cut. No sign of any bees yet.

I've just had an email from the club showing a pigeon in a flat cap, coughing. It's got a cigarette in one hand and an umbrella in the other, with the motto 'Allahu Akbar' written underneath. Not sure what it means.

The 'Eighteen ninety four' was also hinted and yesterday someone posted on Twitter 'a single red rose'

I am starting to think we'll see similar design than Melbourne which is okay, but not quite what I would hope. Not long to wait now though!

Just got an email from the club asking me to go to City Square on boxing day to have a preview of the badge. Just bring your seasoncard or membership card.

what the 4 quadrants thingy? A ship. A rose. What else? Three stripes for the rivers and a fucking eagle with bees for accents around the circle?

Honestly would have hoped for a lot more than that, but let's see before i get disappointed.

cheers

Apparently this is it:

Looks legitimate unless they've done it to throw us off. I'm guessing that website is genuine?

Me too. Very much so.

Like I say, the only reason they'd trademark it is to throw us off, but I don't see why they'd do that.
