Not much chat from the North East

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Not much chat from the North East

Postby CuteMancs » Fri Dec 25, 2015 5:10 pm

I am going to have to keep this short and sweet today, not because I am completely stuffed, or that I may have had a couple of drinks. The truth is there are not many comments about our game tomorrow. I did find threads about our new badge, previous games, and even what would it be like if they had wealthy owners. It's fair to say that our away fans tomorrow are not expecting much tomorrow, and I can't say I disagree with them. The Count has the full squad at his disposal tomorrow ( with one exception), we are at home, and playing Sunderland. I want my three points for Christmas, damn it !

Hope you are all full of Christmas cheer, and have a wonderful day.

Now COME ON CITY !!!

Team Selection

Pantillimon
Jones - O'Shea - Kaboul - Coates - PVA
Watmore - M'Vila - Borini
Fletcher - Defoe

Referee: Anthony Taylor

My favourite

Think the kick off time could be the final score 15-00

And the rest...

Missing Kaboul, Larsson, Matthews and Rodwell suspended; looks like a 4-4-2 with potentially Adam Johnson in centre midfield, though I wouldn't be surprised to see Lee Cattermole involved. I'd like to see Liam Agnew on the bench too, it's time to see what some of these kids can do

Watching Gooners v City, nowt to worry about

I am watching the Gooners v Chitty also...city are look good tbh...It is looking a very tough game

Sam has admitted he keeps changing personnel even during game, the problem he has too many of the players are not that good so it is almost impossible arrive at a decent 11. a couple of injuries has not helped so a couple of the lesser players are getting look in.

It's a right off game, especially given that Aguero is now back playing and needing pitch time and goals before the harder Xmas games for City.

We'll get humped. Save legs, and energy for the Scousers at home and particularly the Villa game and give up on this one I'm afraid. BSA has taken that approach in the past when managing other teams and I fully expect him to do this for the City game and also against the Gooners in the cup. Target winnable games only and give the crap players we have the best chance of doing well in those games. Not worth playing well and losing say 2-1 at City is it?

I'd probably agree about that but suspect that City might rest some of the players coming back from injury. Aguero will either start and play an hour or be a sub,
with them expecting Bony up front to be enough. They may also rest Silva and move de Bruyne inside. Their next game is Leicester away and they need their top players fully fit for that and only have three days to recover.

Let's hope we can keep it respectable and they have another off day . Can see a right thumping tho .

We have to go 4..5..1 with Kaboul out

I usually treat my body like a temple. Last night I treated mine like a whorehouse above a liquor store next to a motherfucking Taco Bell.

Cheers CM. Hope Santa emptied his sack for you.

Loved the kick off could be the score post. Can't see many of them making it, what with no trains and all
