Was speaking at work with someone yesterday who does the timetables for a train company and I was shocked to hear trains haven't run on Boxing Day for a number of years. Piss poor

We guard our 'no work on Boxing Day' carefully. Although coming in from Hudds it's a nuisance for the match.
On the other hand, it's a full normal service on New Year's Day.

That's right mate , nothing until sunday 27th December . Cheapest quote from local taxi services Shevington to Deansgate £70 one way ! Unbelievable considering its a Saturday . Worlds fucked !!!

Yes you were right The trains were for tomorrow. I have driven in and am staying over. Had to get a taxi up to the ground. Double fare on Boxing Day. Not very convenient these trains being off I did pm you back so hope the train details for future games got through to you.
