Kompany, is this the straw that broke the camels back

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

I think this was a test from Pep, to see if he'd make the same mistake as he did a few years back. Gladly he has learnt from that and made the right decision.

A City Leg End who should not be castigated but should be revered for the huge part he has played in bringing the club to where we are now.

Calming and enlightening as per Beefy !

I miss Tevez the little scoundrel!

With them 2 still playing, and the lads we have acquired, we'd be ruling the world by now.

What passion!

really?
personally, i think that he 'was' (?) a bloody brilliant player but i don't think he's been a great leader on the pitch.

Really?!?

I must have imagined the Trophies he has picked up then. Clearly been injured during a lot of his time with us, miracle he has lasted this long. Top player and leader.

Vinny has made some mistakes with regards to his injuries, but for the most part he has been desperately unlucky and it's horrible to see a legend who gives his all have to suffer like this, when all he wants to do is captain the club he loves.

It seems that some are angry with him and insulting him. That can come across as something you might hear from that lot.

If he doesn't deserve the respect of fans, then very few ever will in the future.

Kolarov's had it since day one. Not sure why everyone's kicking up a fuss now it's another player.

Pep confirms that Kompany did not train today + is not in the squad because he has a problem with his knee, and will be out for "weeks."

So who to bring in come January? Can't rely on Stones and Otter all season, we don't look great at the back as it is, screwed if either of them gets injured

I feel sorry for Vincent and if it proves impossible to get him back as a player I'd like to see the club take him on as a coach.
We must have some defenders we risk stones or otter being injured and why should we not get pep to value a decent defense when we had a good defense under Bobbie and won the league so get the cheque book and help pep see how with a decent defense we would have not have been beaten and held to draws in the last minutes of a match.
