Kompany, is this the straw that broke the camels back

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Gutted. Feel so bad for the man. Cannot catch a break.

Not something related to the muscle injuries so I'm not panicking.

If we buy someone then who is out of the team?

Zaba? Vincent? I don't think this is reason to warrant losing his place.

Maybe take a punt on Van Dyke at Southampton before Liverpool buy him.

Don't worry , his place on the physio bed had always been reserved.

Definitely time to get rid . Pep, you shoved Samir , you sorted Yaya. Have you got the balls to sell this injury prone player ? I hope so.

Except its his knee too now. I thought he was unconscious as he hit the ground, after charging into the goalkeeper.

Got to be pensioned off

That's a disaster for VK you can't make that shit up. He's had 35 separate injuries since joining city, you wonder where on earth he goes from here. At what point do you concede that it's beyond the point of no return?

Gutted for him.

VanDyke is a good shout. There's other quality out there too I'm sure.

Sadly it looks like our Vinny's time in City squad is done. Desparately unlucky for the lad and for us. Excellent defender and a great leader too.

A coaching role, as previously mentioned, would be great, keep him around the place.

Also, I hope he goes into punditry as he'll be in our corner and is intelligent enough to put idiots in their place.

City coach and part time UK pundit - he's an intelligent guy and we need to make the most of him.

I realise it was his knee as well when I posted. But this was also not a muscle problem, which is the persistent issue, it was from the same collision that he hurt his head and anyone could have been hurt the same way he was.

Definitwly. Probably the league's 2nd best center half behind Alderweireld.

Maybe mate but some people are just always unlucky, calamitous even. How everyone used to chuckle at Darren Anderton, the original sicknote

In recent years we seem to have been a bit unlucky with several Darren Andertons of our own.

Bojinov and Rocque Santa Cruz immediately spring to mind and then there was the strange case of Stevan Jovetic.

On the other hand, it's just a great pity that Craig Bellamy, who was wonderful for us, was bedevilled by his dodgy knees and it's a crying shame that Kompany's magnificent career looks to be ending in this way.

Pep didn't plan the season around VK , hes not that fuckign stuipid.VK can never ever be part of our plans anymore(I said this preseason) , the back line need to get used to playing with 2 different players at the most in each position otherwise we get fuck ups beyond fuckups.

Hes done his part for MCFC and a position elsewhere in the club is justified........just not on the pitch.

no idea what the injury is but having him and Stones out at the same time is a HUGE problem. Mangala is so shit and i can't believe Pep will want Fernandinho to play CB. that means Tosin or Managla at CB. Maybe Walker with Danilo at RB.

big worry for the busy period.

I've got some inside information from my son, can't reveal full details to protect jobs, but unfortunately I'm told he still wants to be "Liverpool bound" for sure. Pity.

Last I heard it was 'New Year' but who knows? I thought Tosin was good at Shaktar.
