If he is indeed out until near the end of the season, surely they have to act this window.

Why spend money now when we have a new manager coming at the end of the season, just give it all to the new guy when he takes over.

Any news about this cunt?

Will he ever be fit again or he decided to follow Michael Johnson?

Pellers said he is seeing a few specialists to try and get to the route of the problem. No date for a return yet.

Are those specialists from other clubs? Maybe with a bid for us even?

I hope the "route" is right out of fucking town. Injurious cunt.

Club legend my ass. Look, some players are just prone to problems. He plays at a high level. He wants to be like a Maldini, but he's going to end up more like our Ledley King. That's all. Nothing criminal about that. Great attitude. Brilliant scholar. Gentleman. Great ambassador. It happens between the lines tho and he's too fucking hurt to matter.

If he plays in the Euros, does well and has value he needs to be fucked off sharpish to the highest bidder.

cheers

Is there a way of banning any post that mentions K*****y from now? Lets forget him until July?

There isn't one. Only option would be to get back Denayer but he's totally untried at Premiership level. Hard to argue that this is the 'answer'. Pellegrini pretty well admits that defending is secondary to him. We'll just have to hope we get something out of this season while the Club is semi on hold for Pep. We should be miles ahead in the League this season but we're not. Vinny might or might not help if and when he comes back. It's very frustrating. We're doing ok but so we bloody should given the strength of the squad. We should be doing so much better. I hope and believe that we'll have a manager next season who understands that defending matters as much as attacking.

hate to ring the Ted bell, but there aren't a lot of great defenders out there, and even the great ones make mistakes. Too oftenly.

This is the kind of sitch that makes Mangler, or David Luiz worth north of 40M.

I think we'd be better off shopping at the same store that relegation fodder does for defenders and trying your hand with a coupla 4-6M lads or some cunts from the academy than these high priced twats who have the weight of the world on their shoulders. It's clearly too much for Mangala, because the kid is extremely talented, very fast and seems to have it all. But he's fucking blown it hasn't he?

Sad. Great defenders are like unicorn shit. Which is why Vincent's bollocky injury history makes me all the more angry.

Granted, easier said than done, hence I said 'trying'. The problems at CB/Vinnys injury record are not new.

Pellegrini doesn't admit anything of the sort that i've seen. He was a defender by trade and profession.

His concept of defending maybe seems "secondary" to you, but it's pretty much the paragon of modern footballing philosophy that people will write about in this era i'm certain.

Sagna could play emergency c/h to see us thru this injury crisis , zabs and youngster (Maffeo) at right back . No need to spend in this window unless somebody special is obtainable (ie. Kante from foxes).

Sorry Doomy he actually said quite recently that although clean sheets were nice he was much more focused on scoring. Something like that. Personally I want a manager who hates conceding and doesn't just focus on the other end of the pitch. Otamendi and Mangala are better players than they've looked under Pellegrini. He has to take some responsibility for that. If I was Aguero I'd be pretty pissed at seeing the two ridiculous goals we gave away at the weekend. It's not the only problem I accept. Our attack functions fitfully because both Silva and Kevin are having a lean patch. But our endless defensive cock ups have really held us back this season.
