Maffeo is on loan at Girona until the end of the season mate.

blues2win wrote:Sorry Doomy he actually said quite recently that although clean sheets were nice he was much more focused on scoring. Something like that. Personally I want a manager who hates conceding and doesn't just focus on the other end of the pitch. Otamendi and Mangala are better players than they've looked under Pellegrini. He has to take some responsibility for that. If I was Aguero I'd be pretty pissed at seeing the two ridiculous goals we gave away at the weekend. It's not the only problem I accept. Our attack functions fitfully because both Silva and Kevin are having a lean patch. But our endless defensive cock ups have really held us back this season.

Apology accepted.

cheers

Pellegrini pretty well admits that defending is secondary to him. We'll just have to hope we get something out of this season while the Club is semi on hold for Pep. We should be miles ahead in the League this season but we're not. Vinny might or might not help if and when he comes back. It's very frustrating. We're doing ok but so we bloody should given the strength of the squad. We should be doing so much better. I hope and believe that we'll have a manager next season who understands that defending matters as much as attacking.

I would rather see William's from Swansea or Ryan Shawcross at CB than Otto with his shit tats and stupid hair. Fuck me, stood doing his hair while they throw the ball in a straight line which ends up in the back of our net.

Just not acceptable at the level we aspire too. At least Shawcross and Williams defend, and both don't have stupid haircuts and wank sleeve tattoos.

Williams hasn't got any hair and Shawcross has got a 10 year old white lightening drinker with an asbo from Salford hair cut.

We could have a collection of the best Central Defenders in world football at the club but unless they are trained, drilled & able to play in a system that helps them occasionally anybody would flounder.

I don't take any notice of these pressers anymore. Bony was supposed to be fit for the Norwich cup game but is still out. Sergio bumped his heel against Saints but we were told he would be fit for the next game. He was actually out for over 3 weeks. Tolmie on blue moon said he would be out for weeks but it seems no one told MP the news.

I agree with your backend. He may return to training in two weeks or so but the Club will be incredibly careful in bringing him back into the team plus his fitness will need to be improved after a long lay off. Add at least two weeks before he plays any part in a match. I'll be surprised if he comes back into the team before March.

Vinny fit and well is light years better than the pair of muppets we have bought on one leg. Waste of money both look like the keystone cops.
